Hello, I have a quick questions, could someone answer what the Percentage Rate of catching each fish is in survival? This would help me a lot!
I found this trying to find an answer to your question, it doesn’t really answer it though. “An unenchanted fishing rod has an 85% chance of catching fish, a 10% chance of junk, and a 5% chance of treasure. Each level of the Luck of the Sea enchantment decreases the chance of junk and fish, and increases the chance of treasure” Also, there’s a official minecraft wiki on fishing which gives some percentages but I’m unsure what exactly it means. Not sure if I’m allowed to post the link since it’s not MCC related but it was pretty simple to find. Hope this helps
In terms of just catching fish, there is another chance: Fish: 60% Salmon: 25% Clownfish: 2% Pufferfish: 13% This means in terms of chances of catching anything, the chances are: Fish: 85 x 0.6 = 51% Salmon: 85 x 0.25 = 21.25% Clownfish: 85 x 0.02 = 1.7% Pufferfish: 85 x 0.13 = 11.05% -===- Question Answered, Thread Locked -===-
