MCC used to be one of the biggest labymod servers out there but it seems like people are switching over to lunar(like me).I'm still curious tho if there are still people here who use the client.
Personally, I don't use it but I do know a few of people who do. I think the reason a lot of people don't use it, is because lunar and badlion are more advanced than laby is.
Like Leafy said, I know multiple people that use LabyMod religiously. I am not one of those people, however. I like Lunar's look, it is very organized, and it has a lot of helpful mods. I do believe that each client has their own benefits, and that is why people stick to one specific client, and rarely switch.
The two main reasons people used labymod on mccentral was the damage indicator (on skywars) and voice chat on survive games, however lunar is now clearly more advanced, labymod voice chat can be replaced by discord call and post revamp, players health is shown above the head (in skywars) Hope i helped <3
hey there! i'm one of those religious LabyMod users that my good buddy @ehoeian said above. I like the vibe it gives, and the cosmetics are very cute. I've never actually tried other clients other than OptiFine on its own, I also prefer to have my chat separated so that staff matters are strictly in one chat so its easy to blur, do other allowed clients offer the secondary chat feature too? if so let me know!
I use exclusively three clients, depending on what I am doing: Vanilla 1.8.9 Optifine 1.8.9 LabyMod 3 for 1.8.9 My preference is primarily due to the fact that LabyMod has all the features I need, all the other features offered by other clients are simply not required by me, and hence I have no reason to use a more bloated client to achieve the same outcome. As for my usage of Vanilla and Optifine, that is simply for testing plugins, as my primary target is to ensure the plugins work on Vanilla.
hey there! One of the main reasons why people use laby is that it's one of the best functioning clients for Mac users, which believe it or not aren't super rare on mcc. For me personally, Lunar stopped working after I ran it for a few hours, now it won't open. Badlion doesn't open in 1.12, or 1.8 which kind of defeats the purpose of trying to use it on MCC and just in general Laby seems to be one of the only clients that downloads and runs smoothly every time for Mac users. It's always possible that players switch clients etc, so it's likely that many of the non Mac laby users may have switched, but I know a large amount of laby users play on a Mac and it's the only client that works well for them. -Nikki
I use the client) everything works fine. Even if I install mods from this site - https://99minecraft.com/
