There seems to be some controversy lately as to whether or not players are allowed to put names of suspected hackers in the Discord Support Forums in the hopes of getting a staff member to spectate them.

The other question would be, if players are allowed to put the names of suspected hackers in the chat, are they allowed to put a link to a video of said player hacking in order to save the time of both staff members and players alike?

Thank you for your help. I’ve seen many regular players answer this question both ways, but never an official response by a staff member. Thanks again,

    Hey!

First, yes you are allowed to post names in the #support. You can tag @Staff Member as well and make sure to include the subserver as well
Second, as for links, you are allowed to but it's preferred you make a formal forum report. Reason is
    1. The evidence gets lost up in support chat and makes it harder for Moderators if they appeal
    2. It gets very unorganized and ruins the entire aspect of Forum Reports and Reports Team

So answer is Yes to both question BUT it's prefered you send VIDEO links of hackers via the forums

Thank you for the quick and concise response! Much appreciated.

(At any point that a staff member is available to lock this thread, that would be appreciated as well)
