Hey there, I would love to see the preset color of text when posting on the forums be white. This is the standard color for anyone wondering https://gyazo.com/648480be4ac2fd93397a8577191e9d4b Its a lot easier to read in my opinion as the background is grey as well
Grey and Orange seems to be the MCC Theme, I'm sure thats the only reason for the color. Maybe if we all just change our chat color to white, it would work a little better.
I was just talking about the text color. Grey on a darker grey background is just not as easy to read as white on a grey background
I'd like to see a lighter grey if anything. White is a bit bright, but this grey is pretty nice. It isn't too hard on the eyes, and is still easy to see. EDIT: To those curious, it's the grey underneath the white. It looks like the current/default grey is in the middle. EDIT: Looks like it changed! This was the original grey.
As the forums background is grey you'd think, why have a grey text as well? I think it actually fits quite nicely. The suggestion above that TNT has made can even be a better alternative but I don't think setting the automatic color to white is a good idea. Having the color is not only to bright for myself but it also doesn't fit to the overall general theme of the MC-Central website.
Hey ShadowKiller, I completely agree with this idea as it is easier to read. But the color theme for MCC is gray and orange but the white color for posts on the forums is really nice, i quite prefer the white but in the same time you are allowed to change the color to whatever you prefer. As mentioned previously, it’d be much better with a lighter gray than making it a white as that doesn’t go with the flow of the new website. I don’t think that the color should have to change as players are allowed to chose their own color of choice but I can see where you are coming from. Definitely something that may not change due to players already being able to change it but you never know.
I like this idea but as others said, you are able to change the chat color that you desire. Though the inconvinience is that you'd have to chane it everytime you reply or post a new thread.. Changes can happen anytime.
tbh I prefer the grey over the white and find it easier to read. perhaps a middle ground between the current colour and white should be used (pretty much just a lighter grey)
Personally I like the gray on gray. Although white would be more visible to some people, It is up to the administration team to decide what color our default text color should be on the forums. You can always change the color of your text using "Text Color" white making a post / reply.
I personally like the shade of grey. If it does bother you, you can always change the colour of your text to be white. The issue isn't as bad as it was on Enjin, either; white text on the forums collided with the white background of the mobile app, making the entire post impossible to read unless you highlighted the text.
Personally, I think that this color is an amazing color. It doesn’t hurt or strain your eyes while reading. Anything darker would be too hard to read, anything lighter would be kinda weird looking. This is a perfect medium.
The current color fits. The previous one was a bit hard to read. Especially some of the shades of grey on other areas of the website when using a mobile device.
