    Hey Mods and Helpers!

I know you're doing your best, and I just wanted to throw in my opinion on one little topic:
Please remove the full-screen text when a flag is stolen/recovered.
It gets in the way of game play and is unnecessary
The notification in our chat box is sufficient.
That is all I request, thanks!

I disagree. As an avid CTF player, and someone with connections to almost all of the CTF community, the bold text that takes over your screen is a great mechanic. If you're caught up in PvP, and are simultaneously looking for the flagholder, you definitely won't look down at your chat every 5 seconds to see if it was recovered. I like the big text that pops up simply because it alerts everyone very quickly, and without the need to look somewhere else. Granted, the time it spends onscreen could be reduced, but the idea itself is great for gameplay.

For the reasons I noted above, I'm a -1. Sorry!

I disagree entirely, as I'm sure you could assume. The big screen is the worst during PVP as it is literally taking up much of your visible screen space whereas the text in the text box (where all text is literally designed to go in MC) is the perfect notification of who has stolen which flag. It is even more helpful because it is color coordinated! AND the flag-captor (if you will) is shown in the top right of the screen.
Therefore, your comments are irrelevant because the notification is in 2 separate areas on the screen so taking our the 3rd unnecessary notification would be incredibly helpful.

    Should I go on?
If you are trying to be the best server option for gamers, and I would argue that should be your goal, would you not want to separate yourself from other inferior CTF servers? I think you would want that.
ALSO, who can actually read from start to end the entire fullscreen notification? I know that I can't because it is too big to read fully when you are in pvp. This message further complicates bow users as they are looking for small nametags or players on the fringe of their render. Just a few things to consider, and I think you would agree if you played more in the CTF realm.

I have several other suggestions and even money ready to donate should these be adhered to. Please let me know what you think.

i can see where you’re comming from ‘bout how the text is kinda big and can be distracting during pvp. however, it’s not like it blinds you, you can still see enough to be able to pvp, and it doesn’t stay on the screen for long. in fact most times i kinda miss it becuase i don’t even realize it pops up while i’m fighting someone.
if you’re one of those people who bow spam, i can see even further why this is frustrating, but i stil think it’s not much of a problem. just don’t sweat bowspamming. no one likes it anyways.
if text seems too big for you, maybe try using a different texture pack. i like to switch between default, velocity, and the mcc texture pack.
and the notification isn’t really a notification... idk man... i’m gonna agree with zonafer.. // -1

hope this mentioned all your points.have a great day

    I disagree

As a CTF player, whenever I'm in a PVP, it let's me know to stop and look for the flag bearer.

-1, (potentially make it optional though)
