    Information

Capture the flag (CTF) consists in 2 teams, red and blue, which fight against each other with the goal of stealing the enemy's flag, which is located in each team's base, and returning it to their own base.

Each player has a stone sword, a power l bow, an arrow, a compass and a full leather armour.

    Pre-game

Before the game starts, you are sent to the CTF waiting lobby. In this lobby you have different options.

    Choose team

You can choose playing either in the blue or red team in the lobby, by right clicking the sign showed up in the next image.

    Vote for t
    he map

You are able to vote which map will be played. You can see the list of the available maps walking straight to the bottom. There are 5 maps available to vote each game. You are able to vote for the map you'd like to play with the command /vote [number]. The number is the one that is displayed before the map name, as you can see in the next image.

    Perks
There's just 1 perk available in CTF, which is Strong Feet (8000 credits). This perks gives you the advantage of having no fall damage in game.

    Abilities

There are 4 abilities available in CTF.

Arrow Tank: This ability gives you the advantage of taking less arrow damage.
Vampire Kill: This ability gives you the advantage of regenerating 2 hearts when you get a kill.
Agressive Mode: This ability gives you the advantage of dealing double damage if you are low in health.
Explosive Death: This ability gives you the advantage of exploding if you get killed while carrying the enemy's flag, dealing damage around your death.

    How to win

There are 2 ways to win a game of CTF.

Capturing the flag: If one player steals the enemy's flag, and achieves to take it to his own base, the game ends and the victory goes for the team that stole the flag.

Win by kills: If both teams don't achieve to capture the other's team flag after 15 minutes, the game ends and the victory goes for the team who got more total kills during the game.

If after 15 minutes, both teams don't achieve to capture the enemy's flag, and both teams have the same amount of kills, the game will end in a
    tie.

    Map Secrets

There are different map secrets in CTF, I'll bring some of them in this guide.

What will be considered a map secret? Anything about a map that can give you an advantage within the game.

    Eruption

This map has side tunnels that lead to the enemy's base. You can enter the tunnel going up the stairs showed up in the next image.

    Clash Valley

This map has an underground tunnel which, that cross the entire middle. You can find this tunnel following the next images.

    Castle Warfare

In this map, you can find a secret tunnel in the middle of the map, that leads you to the other team's base! To find it follow the next images.

    Castle Warfare 2

This map has a hidden fishing rod! You can find it in the boat showed up in the next images.

    Tips

Use your bow: Bows in CTF are very powerful, since the bow has power 1 enchantment, which does a lot of damage against leather armour.

Keep an eye on your flag: CTF isn’t just capturing the flag, it’s defending yours too. If your flag has been stolen, try to watch from where he is coming, so that you can cut his way to his base.

Learn the maps: There are only 12 maps, try to learn what are the best ways to get into the enemies base.

Don’t kill every single enemy you cross: If you see someone running towards you, which has no intentions to hit you, and he probably won’t be a threat to your flag or base, don’t hit him, since you’ll enter in a fight which you won’t win any game advantage apart from the +1 kill (or +1 death).

    Leaderboards

You can find CTF leaderboards here:

Thanks for reading, I'm open to any suggestions or comments about this guide. I'll be constantly editing it.

What if after 15 minutes both teams have the same number of kills? Is the game a draw?

Yep, the game ends in a draw if both teams have the same amount of kills after the timer finishes. Thanks for the question, I'll be adding this info soon ;)
