Eh, its not uncommon for people not to know abbreviations of certain enchants. Especially if they are just a casual player. The thing is, a lot of people have different ways of shortening enchantment names, and or call it completely different names. Personally, for things like Protection, I'd either say P4, or Prot4. Or, for things like Efficiency, I'd say E4. Other things like Depth Strider, its very rare that I say it, so I usually type the whole name.
