I strongly recommend if possible to have a screen capture software recording your gameplay at all times and report players every time you record a hacker. It takes around 5-10 minutes to report someone and it is totally worth it because by reporting a hacker you will be helping the community. If you have any doubts about how to report someone, you can ask for help on my discord (Dayks#0001) or take a look at some posts on the forum which explain how to report. Thanks for the attention, have a nice day! Dayks
Hey! A TIP: Windows has a built-in recorder that auto records your last 30 seconds of gameplay. So you can play as normal, notice a hacker, click a keybind and you've got a 30-second video of a hacker. (The 30 seconds can also be adjusted in settings) Click Windows Key + G to open the menu
I Think he is talking about Xbox overlay in windows 10, you press Windows + G and it pops up onscreen
Some people use OBS to record their screen, i personally use my capture card since it is easier for me. I don't know how to use the Xbox Overlay screen capture....
Recording your screen at all times is so useful for another thing apart from reporting hackers. If you get banned and accused of hacking it can’t be appealed right away unless you have video evidence. So recording while you play can save you from a ban as well and your computer should have tons of storage so maybe clear it once a week Since reports should be done by then anyways. If you want to be safe clear it every 2 weeks because if anyone had anything on you it is now void since it is 2 weeks old. :) Have a good day ~Micro
Usually I just have NVIDIA overlay on so I can start recording quickly or take a screenshot, both with keybinds, haven't had to use it just yet
You don't necessarily always need to be recording as it takes up a lot of space but if you spot a hacker and then you get in a game with them again it is helpful if you have a program ready to use. For mac players quicktime player is easy and what I use, on windows I use nvidia geforce instant replay. The nvidia one is especially good because you can set it up to save the last 30 seconds - 15 (maybe more) minutes of your computers display.
Hey! I do not think that it is necessary to record every time you play. But I do recommend a application that will clip your last 30 seconds. If your having trouble deciding, I would advise you to go check out MEDAL. Medal is a clip recording application that I have been using for a while. It clips, then when your ready you are able to upload it and it will give you a link to put right into the report. This makes things a lot easier for staff members to view the clips :) Have a great Day/Night!
The Windows Game Bar was added on Windows 8, and is available for every version 8+. If it isn't popping up when you use Win+G, in Windows 10, open the Settings app then Gaming > Game Bar. You can change the settings from there. Win8 should be something similar, if not you can google where to find it. Also if you use Badlion Client, they are going to be releasing 2.9.0 shortly, with a Replay Mod being one of the new additions. I wouldn't recommend OBS from personal experience. It just uses up too many resources. Unless you have a god pc it's going to visibly affect your gameplay.
