Would just seem like a nice addition, rather than taking the time to spell everything out. e.g; /cr or even /report
Hey juniot, I don't think we should be shortening it. I don't want to encourage people to be chatreporting because its 'easy'. The idea of chatreport is not to just report everyone in sight who is chatting slight fast; but rather to report actual offences. As it stands, literally 50% of chatreports are denied due to people chatreporting people because its so easy. As such, I'm heavily against aliasing it.
Not in the intentions of making it easier, but faster, for example, in a minigames game or mid-pvp in kitpvp or something.
Hey Juniot, Unlike Kirenboal (sry!) I agree with you that it should be shortened, not because its easier, but because its faster. Like you said, in a minigame, if im mid pvp and someone has commited a chat offense, it would be nice to do /cr and not /chatreport because that give people time to recover or what not. Pretty much, it should be shortened for pvp reasons. If there was no pvp anywhere on the server, i mean, who would actually care. But the thing is, there is pvp, so i think it should be shortened. This is just my opinion. Have a good one!
Hey Junior, As Kirenboal said, I agree with the fact that it should not be shortened. Yes, typing out /cr would faster, but with that being said, I can see a margin for error in this, which can result in the number of chat reports getting denied having an influx. However, 27JAS spoke upon being in the middle of a PVP fight and how doing /chatreport would take time out of the battle. I agree with this in the sense that, yeah, if you are in the middle of a fight, it is harder to type out. However, one should keep in mind that there are other people on the sub server/mini-game that can do the chat report as well. Also, if it was in a duel (wager duel or arena PVP), upon submitting the chatreport, the system will save the conversation up to 10 minutes from the player's perspective. One can always do /chatreport after such a duel or can take a screenshot and submit a forum report. Overall I am -1 one the idea.
