So I've decided to make a map, still in the making which is gonna take a long time because I'm doing a ton of detail and all. But I'm wondering how like the spawning and all that will work. Like does anyone know how that part works, and if I have to do that or if the server does that I don't know. So if anyone can tell me that will be awesome! Hey, I'm not a huge map submission expert but I would assume that you would not need to code spawn points aside from building them. I'm pretty sure that if your map is accepted, they would take control of the whole spawn situation. Additionally, there is no listed requirements for that, as far as I can see. For the map submission god reading this right now, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong lol. Good luck with your map! Hope all goes well :)
i dont know much about the submission process, but i feel like the server could use some new maps, so im excited to see what you come up with.
When it comes to making maps; as from my own experience make sure it is clear where you are wanting players spawn, this can be accomplished by a certain block marking a position or a sign stating where you want them to spawn - Just some kind of indication to the adminstration team where you want them! I'm sure that if you put in the effort, which it seems that you are willing to do, they will accept it. Or if they dont accepting im sure other builders may gain inspiration for it. What type of map are you trying to build?
Well I'm trying to make a map for Murder Mystery. And really I kinda don't know what it is I'm building.....I guess its a school but I really don't know honestly.

If you're making a map for Murder Mystery, don't worry about giving specific spawn points (coming from someone who has MM maps on the server)! MM is unique in that its not a map really centered around certain areas, and therefore the spawn points are less relevant, so Alex and Jeremy deal with quick and easy spawn placements themselves.
