First, I love the new updates, they are big and I will be sure to spend a good time with them. But I see a very major problem, not in the Updates directly, but in the frequency that they are dropped? Remember the release of 1.15? Oh boy it was like it was a month ago, because it was. It literally came out 1,5 Months ago and then they were already planing 1.16 and 1.17, see: When these Updates drop so frequently, some players may be oberwhelmed, myself included, I couldnt even see all features of the new rendering engine and the new Farms and Mechanics in this time. I am no modder for Minecraft but I could imagine that they are stressed out too because Mojang is releasing Updates like every month, which is true. And they havent even fixed the issues with 1.15 and still go on to the new Update. I think that is going to work in the long term and its defenetly a problem. All that has changed is allowing newer versions to join. Creative and Survival are 1.12 backends and the rest are 1.8.9. We also have no control over the updates. Complain to mojang about the amount of updates.
