Hello, if you're reading this, then you're probably interested in what I have to say. Before I get into that, I just want to say that I love playing on this server, but there are a couple of fixes that need to be made if this server wants to go big. 1) KitPvP: currently, the state of KitPvP is astonishing to me. It is so broken to the point where someone can kill you in two hits, which is unheard of for any kitpvp server. This is on the top of my list because it is such a gaping hole in the server, that it'd be hard not to address it. 2) Anti-Cheat: the anti-cheat on this server is almost non-existent, and the staff is fully aware of this problem. I've contacted a frequent hacker, the "Networker", as he calls himself, who has hacked to raise awareness of the problem that is the anti-cheat system on MCcentral. After a conversation on why he hacks on the server, he made me aware that he has offered to fix the anti-cheat system on the server, but the server said that they did not need to fix it. This is really confusing because them saying that it does not need to be fixed is blatantly untrue if the same person is able to come onto the server time and time again through multiple accounts. On top of that, there are at least one or two hackers on CTF daily, which is also unacceptable. 3) Swear Filter: I am 100% certain that any player has seen the f*ck, sh*t, *ss, etc. Although there is a swear-filter, it does not filter out some of the biggest swear words there are. I am not sure if this is intentional or not, but if so, it is not very professional. With all of the server's flaws, I still play on it. It is a great server that I have been playing for a few weeks now, but I figured I might as well point these problems out, so that future players will have an even better playing experience than me. Hopefully, the staff will read this, but if they don't that's on them. I've done my part in pointing these things out, and it's their part to fix the problems. With Love- twistedspindle
1. KitPvP is made to be very Donator-Friendly I want them to keep it this way. However, there could be some slight tweaks such as removing /fixall from donators. 2. The anti-cheat is currently in development and I'm sure that they are aware of how it's been doing on detecting hacks and hackers. 3. I agree, there are MANY bypasses to the filter and I think they should start adding more the blacklisted words list so it can't be bypassed as easily. If you do see players bypassing the filter make sure to /chatreport them so they can receive the correct punishment for their offence.
Hello TwistedSpindle, First of all, I believe that Kit PvP could do with some “renovations.” New players almost die instantly as soon as they jump into the PvP Arena. A possible solution for this is to give the new players a better set to use for PvP, that way they do not die instantly and have a shot at getting kills in game. If you have any other solutions to this, then I would appreciate it if you could mention some of those ideas. c: Secondly, the anti-cheat has been brought up multiple times by multiple players and staff members alike. Most of us have suggested that we get a new anti-cheat or at least fix the one we have now. The problem with getting a new anti-cheat is that it would cause more problems on the server, due to there being a completely different anti-cheat already. This would mean they would need to close the server for a little bit, until they can figure out how to adjust the server to the new anti-cheat. So for now the best option is if they fix the anti-cheat we have now. I know our anti-cheat is not the best, because an anti-cheat is supposed to catch hackers and not innocent players. However, it does alert us if there is suspicious activity coming from a player, so for now it is working. But I do agree that this does need to be fixed. Finally, the filter on the words is to stop players from saying offensive words that could make other players upset in the process. The words you mentioned are not offensive words, unless they are directed towards someone or are explicit. Meaning the players would be muted for either Explicit Conversation or Disrespect. I think the filter in my opinion is perfectly fine at the moment and does not have a flaw to it, other than players attempting to bypass the filtered words in chat. I started typing before the players above but finished after so what they have mentioned already is true and this is mostly just a follow-up on their opinions. These are just some of my thoughts on these points you made :) 1. KitPvP is pretty pay to win at the moment and to get the best kits/armor you really do need a rank or a friend that has a rank. This is how KitPvP has been for a while and even though many people do disagree with it, it is the way that MCC KitPvP works. If you play for a while you will you will obtain better armor and weapons and god apples etc. 2. The anticheat is being non-stop worked on currently by the Quality Assurance Team and the developers and any rants about it on the forums usually just get locked. We just have to be patient until we get an update on when it will be fixed. For now what you can do is report any players you feel should be punished on the forums. 3. There is chat filters for racist words and a lot of swear words but, The MCC owners feel that most swear words should be allowed. This is their choice and it is not punishable currently and it will most likely stay not-punishable to say words like these. It is punishable to spam these words though. If you feel a chat punishment is required for a player then you can always do /chatreport (player) (reason). Thank you and have a lovely day! (Remember this is just my opinion)
I JUST WANT TO REITERATE THESE SUGGESTIONS BECAUSE THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY NOT BEING LISTENED TO. absolutely ridiculous that people can just have bypassing clients on a server this size. Even the small, individually owned servers can protect against this. Even more crazy is that you can say the F word but the B word and other lesser f words are banned- shocking.
