31st January 2021 THIS IS NOT A RESET - NO DATA / PROGRESS WILL BE LOST! THIS IS AN UPDATE! This update is dedicated towards our loyal Survival players! As you all know, Minecraft version 1.18 was launched back in November 2021. Our Survival server is currently running 1.17 as a backend version. A full fledged reset was currently not on the tables (thank you for all your feedback), as our Survival server has very recently undergone a fresh reset! The purpose of this update is to upgrade our current Survival server to a 1.18 backend (without any players losing any of their progress!) giving players access to all of the latest and greatest features which Minecraft has to offer! - Backend version has been upgraded from 1.17 to 1.18 - There is now a brand new 'Resources' world which is 100% generated with the new 1.18 terrain - The previous 1.17 'Claims' overworld has now been 'upgraded' to 1.18 terrain below Y=0 - All terrain in the 'Claims' overworld which is above Y=0 will remain unchanged! - Nether & End worlds are 100% unchanged - Fixed a bug where players could break spawners by using explosives - Fixed a bug where players would receive a message from our PvP plugin every time they threw an enderpearl - The scoreboard will now display what world you are currently in - Players are now able to create chestshops inside the Nether world (since claims are also allowed here)! - Upon spam clicking another player, you will no longer be spammed with messages from our PvP plugin - Fixed a small exploit where players could easily kill others by using explosive end-crystals - Fixed a bug where many of the 'steps' added in the latest versions could not be used to sit down on (with our sit plugin) Upgrading a server from 1.17 -> 1.18 is a bit of a tricky task (compared to a flat out reset where everything is a fresh start). Because we are needing to 'upgrade' some of our worlds (the claims world) from 1.17 terrain to 1.18 terrain without affecting anything which players have already built in, this is a bit of a time consuming task (due to the size of the world). For the upcoming days whilst this process is in the works, Survival will remain offline. Players can expect to see Survival open this upcoming Thursday at 3pm MST with all of these changes!
