Gens introduce an exciting new economy concept to Lifesteal, allowing players to acquire and place generators on an island. These generators, in turn, produce valuable gems. With these gems, players can enhance their generators by advancing them to higher tiers, all the while earning experience. The more advanced the generators you place, the greater the yield in both gems and experience! Through the strategic use of these generators, players can progress through various ranks and prestiges, unlocking rewards that enhance their Lifesteal journey! This post will detail information for our new server which will be dropping this upcoming Friday 27th October 3pm MST. Island World: The Island World is the home for everyone's generator islands. All players are eligible to create their generator island by using the command '/gens create'. Once your island is created, it can be accessed at any time by using the command '/gens home'. Similar to our other servers, this private island will feature all the same features, such as trusting players, banning players, expelling players, configurable permissions, island chat and much more! Generator Information: After creating your island, your next task is to start purchasing and placing generators. Generators can be acquired from the generator shop (/gens shop) using a brand new currency known as 'Gems.' Generators will produce drops approximately every 15 seconds. Thanks to a smart water and hopper collection system, players can leave their generators running for as long as they like and return to a plethora of drops to sell! Newly created generator islands will have a pre-made collection system already setup and ready for action. Once you've collected enough gems, players can choose to purchase new generators or upgrade their existing ones. To upgrade your current generators, simply right-click on them, and a GUI will open, allowing you to select the desired tier for the upgrade. Alternatively, players can upgrade them instantly to the next tier by using 'shift + right-click'. Generator Top: Players can check the top 50 generator islands on the server using the command '/gens top.' Generator islands are ranked based on the cumulative value of all generators placed on each island. If you aspire to compete for a top island position, remember that you'll need to prestige and sell as many drops as possible. This not only increases your island generator limit but also provides you with the necessary gems to reach the highest tiers! Levelling System: Each player will have their own Generator Level, which is displayed as a prefix in front of their name. Players earn EXP every time they sell generator drops (accomplished using '/gens sell'). Higher-tier generator drops provide more EXP than lower tiers. When you progress through 25 generator levels successfully, you'll prestige and receive a new set of rewards to aid you in both your Lifesteal and Generator adventures! For more information about your generator level and current rewards, use the command '/gens level.' Lifesteal Integration: For our Lifesteal community, there is still plenty of content, griefing and PvP for you to enjoy! Generator levels directly influence the Lifesteal gameplay, enabling players to expand their heart capacity and unlock exclusive PvP-focused kits and sell multipliers. To access the PvP-enabled survival worlds, simply use the command '/wild.' These worlds are where players will gather the necessary resources for constructing their generator islands. Introduction Tasks: Understanding the fundamental concepts and features of a server can be a daunting experience, something we aim to alleviate with Introduction Tasks! These tasks comprise a series of challenges designed to instruct all players in the core mechanics of Lifesteal Gens and everything we have to offer. Upon successfully completing a challenge, players can claim a reward. Introduction Tasks can be accessed by using the command '/help.'
