The time has come for our Lifesteal server to start a brand new chapter. This season is focussed on adding as much new content and fixes as possible to this brand new gamemode! Players can expect to see epic new features this upcoming season such as an Obscure Zone, Last Man Standing Event, Boss Battle Event, Supply Drops and much more! This changelog will detail all changes big and small for our upcoming Lifesteal Reset which will be dropping this upcoming Friday 25th November 3pm MST. Spoiler: Upcoming Changes Upcoming Changes - 1.19 Boss Event has now been added - 1.19 Last Man Standing event has now been added - Care Package event has now been added to the Warzone - Legend+ rank will now have access to the /near command - Obscure Zone has been added outside spawn, a new way for players to make money and PvP - New command /outpost has been added, allowing players to view outpost information anywhere on the server - Leaderboards have now been added to the website - Fixed a bug where players could consume a chorus fruit and glitch outside of the outpost - Killing a player whilst you have max hearts will now cause the killed player to drop a heart container - Maximum amount of hearts has been reduced from 50 to 30 - Core Protect has now been added to assist staff with some specific scenarios - Map size for all 3 worlds (Overworld, Nether and End) has been reduced to 10,000 x 10,000 - Amount of money obtained for controlling the outpost has now been reduced (was previously too OP) Obscure Zone: The Obscure Zone is located directly outside of spawn inside the Warzone. This zone will act as the home to the all new Obscurus mob which will drop Obscure Shards upon being killed (which can then be sold for profit). Grinding the obscure zone will be one of the most efficient ways to make money, but be warned! As this is located in the warzone, it will act as a highly contested PvP hotspot for enemy players! Important Gameplay Changes: As lifesteal is a new gamemodes which is still maturing, a few changes will be making their way next season. Firstly the maximum amount of hearts that a player can have is now 30. Players can also expect to see a reduced map size of 10,000 x 10,000 (in attempt to increase the amount of raids). Lastly, upon killing a player whilst you have max hearts, that player will now drop a heart container when they die, allowing you to pick it up! Boss Battle: Boss battle is the first event making its way to Lifesteal with this reset. This event will also take place on a 1.19 backend, making use of the new combat mechanics. The goal here is simple, gather your clan and kill the boss! The player whom deals the most damage to the boss will be deemed the winner and receive an event key. Good luck! Last Man Standing: This upcoming season, Lifesteal players can now participate in our Last Man Standing event. This event will take place 3 times per day, and the goal is simple: Kill all other players in the arena to be the last man standing! This event will run on a 1.19 backend, and will make use of the new combat mechanics. Good luck, the winner shall receive an event key! Care Package: The third and final event making its way to Lifesteal are care packages. Care packages will drop 6 times throughout the day in the Lifesteal Warzone (located outside of spawn). The player whom successfully opens the care package will be deemed the winner and will be rewarded with an event key! Miscellaneous Changes As always with new seasons, it is our primary focus to ensure we deliver enough content, quality of life changes and bug fixes to satisfy our community! Players can expect to see brand new builds alongside a smoother gameplay experience with a handful of our backend plugins being updated with performance improvements.
