The time has come once again for our Gens Tycoon server to start a brand new chapter. This season is focussed on adding as much new content as possible to keep the game feeling modern and fresh! This changelog will detail all changes big and small for our upcoming reset which will be dropping this upcoming Friday 23rd May 3pm MST.

Upcoming Changes
- Mob Farms have been added to the farming worlds, allowing players to grind mobs and unlock Mob Chambers.
- Mob Chambers have been added to all generator islands, providing a passive way to generate Mob Essence.
- Three new island upgrades have been added, all purchasable using the newly introduced Mob Essence.
- A new Community Goal reward has been added, giving all players a chance to catch bonus fish.
- A new Communtiy Goal reward has been added, granting all players with a discount on island upgrades.
- /sleep command has been added to the Immortal rank, allowing players to remove phantoms.
- Infinite hunger has been disabled in the PvP world to restore proper combat balance.
- New command added "/gen upgrade" to easily access the new island upgrade interface.
- 2 new island permissions have been added, allowing players who can upgrade their island and mob chambers.
- 5 new introduction tasks have been added (based around the newly added features).
- Fixed an issue where "/gen deposit all" didn’t complete the Introduction Task.
- Fixed a bug where shift-placing a generator on another would upgrade it instead of placing it.
- Players can no longer use rename scrolls on Farming Hoes, which previously broke their names.
- Fixed an experience duplication bug involving Gen Wand disenchanting.
- Fixed a bug where Pocketpals could break crops in public farms.
- All backend plugins have been updated to their latest builds, bringing a handful of performance optimizations.
- A brand new spawn build has been added for the new season.

Community Mob Farms:
In the public farming worlds, players will now discover three community mob farms, each playing a crucial role this season! Slaying livestock within these farms will reward players with a brand new currency: Mob Essence. But that’s not all—slaughtering enough of these livestock will also unlock access to the powerful new Mob Chamber feature, available on every player’s generator island.

Mob Chambers:
Located on every generator island, players will find three Mob Chambers, each linked to a specific mob from the community mob farms. To unlock a chamber, players must first slaughter the required amount of the corresponding mob in the public farm. Once unlocked, the chamber will automatically begin slaughtering mobs on its own, generating passive Mob Essence over time without any further effort required.

Players can then invest their Mob Essence back into these chambers to unlock powerful upgrades. These include changing the mob species, increasing the chamber’s capacity, and boosting the speed at which mobs are slain. By strategically upgrading their chambers, players can greatly enhance their passive Mob Essence production.

Island Upgrades:
This season in Gens Tycoon, players can unlock three powerful new island upgrades: Generator Discounts, Generator Greed, and Generator Speed Boosts. To access these enhancements, you'll first need to unlock the all-new Mob Chambers and start farming Essence—a vital resource for powering up your island like never before. The grind is on, and the rewards are worth it—get ready to push your generators to their full potential!

Community Goal Rewards:
New Community Goal rewards are making a splash in the Fishing World this season! Work together to hit the community fishing target, and everyone will unlock powerful new perks—including Bonus Fish in the Fishing World and a discount on the brand-new Island Upgrades. The more you fish, the more everyone benefits, so grab your rods and help reel in rewards for the whole server!

Miscellaneous Changes
As always with new seasons, it is our primary focus to ensure we deliver enough content, quality of life changes and bug fixes to satisfy our community! Players can expect to see brand new builds alongside a smoother gameplay experience with a handful of our backend plugins being updated with performance improvements.
