The time has come once again for our Survival server to start a brand new chapter. The main purpose of this reset is to bring forward the brand new Minecraft updates which have recently been released in 1.19! Alongside this, we have gone ahead and designed our very own custom claims plugin with enhanced features. This changelog will detail all changes big and small for our upcoming Survival Reset which will be dropping this upcoming Friday 24th June 3pm MST. Spoiler: Upcoming Changes Upcoming Changes - Backend has been updated to 1.19 - Brand new 1.19 Overworld, Resources World, Nether & End - Brand new spawn - Brand new official PvP arena located at spawn - Custom claims plugin (with permissions, inspect mode, banning players and much more)! - Players are now able to set a description for their warps (which will appear in the warps GUI) - Players are now able to select a category when browsing through warps - 20% of players on the server sleeping will now trigger the night to pass - Dynamic web map has been added ( https://mccentral.org/dynmap ) The Wild Update (1.19): The biggest change players will face next season is the updated backend from 1.18 to 1.19! This update will bring forward all of the newly added Minecraft features (Such as the deep dark, The Warden, etc). Minecraft 1.19 was released on the 7th June, and in typical Survival fashion, we are striving to keep everything on the latest Minecraft version! Enhanced Custom Claims Plugin: Previously on Survival, we used a public plugin to handle all of the land claiming. With this approach came limitations which we were not happy with! This upcoming season, we are proud to release our brand new custom claims plugin which has been designed from scratch to include epic features such as permissions, banning players, withdrawing claim blocks, inspecting claim territory and much more! A detailed tutorial on our new claims plugin can be viewed here. This tutorial will go over all features of the plugin which players can expect to see! Enhanced Player Warps Player warps are a fundamental aspect of Survival. With over 3,000 warps being created last season, sorting between these warps and understanding exactly what each warp consists of is a very important aspect. This upcoming season, players are now able to set descriptions for their warps, alongside a category. Whilst browsing warps, players are now able to sort between different categories (such as shops, social, combat and grinders) whilst viewing a description of that warp prior to teleporting! Dynamic Web Map With this upcoming reset, players will be able to view the server from a never before seem angle! Introducing the new dynamic 'Google Maps' style web map! This map can be viewed at the following url here. This is a live updating map, displaying a live feed of the 3 main worlds (Overworld, Nether & The End) which will update throughout the entirety of the season! Miscellaneous Changes As always with new seasons, it is our primary focus to ensure we deliver enough content, quality of life changes and bug fixes to satisfy our community! Players can expect to see brand new builds alongside a smoother gameplay experience with a handful of our backend plugins being updated with performance improvements.
