The time has come once again for our Lifesteal server to start a brand new chapter. This season is focussed on adding as much new content and fixes as possible to keep the game feeling modern and fresh! Players can expect to see some massive new features this upcoming season such as Heart Prestige, Revamped Obscure Zone, New Disguises, Winter Keys and much more! This changelog will detail all changes big and small for our upcoming Lifesteal Reset which will be dropping this upcoming Friday 24th February 3pm MST. Spoiler: Upcoming Changes Upcoming Changes - Chat Tags have now been added (obtainable from Winter Keys) - Winter Keys have now been added - New command /toggles has been added as an easy way to manage available toggles on the server - Players are now able to merge heart containers together inside their inventory - Heart Prestige has been added allowing players to increase their maximum hearts - 9 new disguises have been added, utilising the newly added mobs in the latest versions - Obscure Zone has been revamped and is now located in a standalone arena (/warp obscure) - Players whom have consumed an invisibility potion will no longer have their bounty particles displayed - New command /kothtop added displaying the clans with the most koth wins - Fixed a bug where players could grief spawn with fire by using a trident with channeling enchantment - Fixed a bug where players could combat log by using a totem - Armor obtained from event keys has been buffed Heart Prestige: This upcoming season, lifesteal is receiving an overhaul in regards to the way hearts work. Starting players will be able to have a maximum of 25 hearts. To receive more hearts, players are going to need to prestige by using the command '/prestige'. Prestiging will permanently increase your maximum heart limit, but it will come at a cost! Each prestige will need to be purchased by using hearts currently inside your inventory (heart containers). New Disguises: As Lifesteal is running the latest Minecraft version, it only makes sense to include some of these awesome new mobs as disguises! This was a highly requested addition which we are completely on board for! This upcoming season, players can expect to see 9 new disguises of all different sizes ranging from little slippery frogs to big cuddly pandas! Obscure Zone Revamp: This upcoming season, players can expect to see some major changes in regards to the Obscure Zone. It will now take place in a seperate arena located away from spawn (/warp obscure). Once inside the Obscure Zone, the only way players can safely leave is through the exit portal (located on the opposite side of the arena). The center of the arena is filled with 'Obscurus' which will drop the sought after shards. When entering this arena, make sure you are prepared and have your clan by your side, as there is no way back without fighting! Winter Keys: Winter keys are a brand new type of key which are only available to purchase until the end of February. These keys are unique in the way they work, giving players a guaranteed 5 rewards (2 of which are limited edition chat tags). There are currently 7 available chat tags for players to collect, all of which can be viewed and activated by using the command /tags. The only way to obtain these chat tags is by opening these limited edition keys, or purchasing them from another player (auction house). Miscellaneous Changes As always with new seasons, it is our primary focus to ensure we deliver enough content, quality of life changes and bug fixes to satisfy our community! Players can expect to see brand new builds alongside a smoother gameplay experience with a handful of our backend plugins being updated with performance improvements.
