Following up on the success of our last season, Prison Season 11 is arriving and it sure does bring some awesome game-changing mechanics to the Minecraft Prison community. Being one of our biggest content seasons to date, players can expect to see loads of new features such as: Cellmates, Emotes, Prestige Symbols, Lotteries and much more! This changelog will detail all changes big and small for our upcoming Prison Reset which will be dropping this upcoming Thursday 23rd December. Spoiler: Upcoming Changes Upcoming Changes - Implementation of chunk loaders - New cellmates (unlocked by mining 30,000 blocks) - Rankup Discounts (unlocked by levelling up your cellmate) - Prestige Symbols (unlocked by levelling up your cellmate) - Emotes (unlocked by levelling up your cellmate) - Daily mega lottery (Accessed via the command /lottery) - Increased hopper limit on Private Mines - Slightly reduced the amount of sellwands obtained from the voting villager - New command added to Private Mines (/pmine middle) to easily find the center of your mine - Fixed a bug where players could throw enderpearls whilst they were mounted on the PMD - Numerous other performance optimisations with our backend plugins - Drastically improved help interface with more detailed / useful information Lottery The lottery is a brand new world which is making its way to our Prison server. All players are able to purchase lottery tickets, and each day the lottery will be drawn. The winner of this lottery will have the potential to win a boat load of cash to assist them on their Prison journey! Whilst it may not be as eventful as winning the lottery in real life, this is the next closest thing! Players are limited to purchasing 128 tickets per day (to ensure everyone has a fair chance at winning). The lottery can be accessed with the command /lottery. Cellmates Cellmates are now a vital and adorable aspect of Prison! Players can unlock a cellmate upon initially mining 30,000 blocks. Once your cellmate is unlocked, they will follow you around everywhere on the server (this can be disabled if wanted). Once unlocked, whilst you are mining your cellmate will pickup scraps. After picking up enough scraps, your cellmate will embark on an expedition for the upcoming hour. The goal of your cellmate is really simple: Send them on as many expeditions as possible, which will result in your cellmate progressing through 50 different levels. With each level comes a handful of rewards (Think of it like a battlepass type system). These rewards are unique cosmetics & gameplay changing features such as: Emotes, Prestige Symbols, Rankup Discounts, Mining Backpacks, Tokens, Spawners and much more! Cellmates can be customized to your own personal liking, after all they are your new best friend on Prison! Prestige Symbols Prestiging on Prison is no easy feat. This is a big milestone, and it is one that deserves to have some acknowledgement! This upcoming Prison season, we will be introducing Prestige Symbols. These symbols are displayed everywhere that your Prison Rank is displayed (Tablist, Scoreboard & Chat). Prestige Symbols are a nice way to add a bit more personalisation to how your rank is displayed throughout the server. These symbols can be unlocked by levelling up the newly added Cellmate (there are 45 different symbols to unlock and choose from)! Chunk Loaders We have heard your cries! Chunk Loaders have been highly requested on Prison for many seasons now. Being present on both Skyblock and Factions, these little chunk loaders are an extremely useful asset on your Private Mine. Gone are the days of using alt accounts for your spawners to be functional, chunk loaders will take all of that weight off your shoulders by keeping them loaded 24/7 throughout the entire season. It's about time! Emotes Expressing emotions on a block game is very difficult. When having a static face, it is no easy task to show your feelings! Emotes are here to save the day. With 27 different emotes to choose from, players are now able to express many different types of emotions through fancy modern animations. Emotes can be unlocked through the newly added Cellmate (there are 27 different emotes to unlock and choose from)! Miscellaneous Changes As always with new seasons, it is our primary focus to ensure we deliver enough content, quality of life changes and bug fixes to satisfy our community! Other changes include balancing changes (such as slightly reducing the amount of sellwands in the economy), increased hopper limits on private mines, convenient commands (such as /pmine middle), numerous bug fixes and much more!
