    Brand New Jobs Economy
One of the biggest issues encountered throughout Season 7.0 of Survival was the economy. With Farming and Fishing the main drivers for making money, and nothing to spend money on, this resulted in a rapidly inflating economy. To address this issue for next season, we have invested a lot of time into creating a brand new Jobs plugin, containing 5 available jobs for players to choose from (Farmer, Fisherman, Miner, Woodcutter, Excavator). Players are able to select and rotate between any of the jobs by simply typing '/Jobs' which will then open a GUI ingame.

After selecting a Job, players must perform specific actions in order to obtain money and job experience. Upon obtaining enough job experience, players will be prompted with a request asking if they would like to receive a promotion. Accepting a job promotion will cost players some ingame money, but in return will allow them to profit slightly more whilst employed with that job. All jobs can be promoted up to level 99.

Whilst we have never had an official ranking system for our Survival server, Jobs are the new ranking. In front of players names in chat and tablist is a number. This number is their 'Total Job Level'. All players will start with [5] in front of their username (as this is the default 'Total Job Level' when all 5 of your jobs are at level 1). The maximum obtainable level is 495 (achieved upon ranking up all jobs to level 99). Proceeding through job promotions will give players a long term goal to work towards, alongside taking some money out of the economy to combat the inflation long-term.

With the revised economy, farming is no longer the only way to make money. As a result of this, Harvest Hoes have been removed from our Survival server, and replaced with our brand new 'Job Amplifiers' as a treasure reward. Job Amplifiers work as a personal-booster. Players are able to activate one, and for a certain amount of time they will receive 2x money and job experience whilst employed and working a job.
