There is a poll. If you choose yes: Vines should have a much better price. No: Vines should be completely nerfed. Before I start. Please don't lock this thread if you can. This is just so that we have our own opinions. As some of you may have known, vines have been nerfed once again. The current price is no longer as high as it was. Firstly, MCC, why are you doing this? It doesn't even matter if it was $100. You made it even less. Let's say some of us just started on the server, we want to make a vine farm. Example, Chilo_ made a vine farm and spent all day making it, and then vines got nerfed. Shears are already this terrible. It's already so slow to farm. Spawners are already this expensive. Why does MCC have to nerf vines? This isn't about vines/shears, but hoppers. Why can't we just craft them? What's the big deal about hoppers? Okay, maybe it causes lag and chunk loaders have been added. But, can't MCC find a solution for hoppers? In this thread, if you don't mind, please post a reply with the reason why vines should be made less expensive, more expensive, or the price of vines should stay the same as the original price. Please also post the reason if you don't mind. Thank you for reading this post. Regards, Comstepr
Ik that vines were good but they were easily afk'd. Melons are just as good as vines before they were nerfed to even 100. I think that the decision was just and will be good in the long run.
Vines should be more expensive because this season spawners are fairly expensive. As a lot of people made vine farms, it is unfair now that people already made theirs to be nerfed right after everyone built their farms. Also, I think that hoppers would be to cheap if we were to craft them, but maybe if they raised the price of iron and let us craft them it wouldd be fair.
As I stated on another thread, if you were to create a fully afkable vine farm, it will bring in dumb amounts of money into the economy. This was a oversight on our behalf which was made when determing the prices of crops for the new economy. This change was needed to put it on par with other crops. Thread locked.
