The time has come once again for our Skyblock server to start a brand new chapter. This season is focussed on adding as much new content as possible to keep the game feeling modern and fresh! Players can expect to see some massive new features this upcoming season such as a brand new End Dimension, Autosell Tax Upgrades, Emerald Vault Upgrades, a brand new PvP arena and much more! This changelog will detail all changes big and small for our upcoming reset which will be dropping this upcoming Friday 12th May 3pm MST. Spoiler: Upcoming Changes Upcoming Changes - /toggle has been added, allowing for players to easily manage their enabled / disabled toggles - All players can now access the nether island from the get-go (island level 1,000 requirement has been removed) - Brand new PvP arena has been added - Brand new end dimension has been added (accessed via entering the End Portal in your nether island) - New island upgrade added (accessible via the end) Reduce Autosell Tax - New island upgrade added (accessible via the end) Reduce Emerald Vault Tax - New island upgrade added (accessible via the end) Increased Mob Drops - Fixed a bug where players were unable to sit below Y=0 - Explosive Shovels have been added (same concept as Explosive Pickaxes and Explosive Axes) - Fixed a bug which made it possible to duplicate empty buckets - Emerald Wand name has been changed to make it easier to differentiate them from Sell Wands - Fixed a bug with the hologram at spawn when a booster was active (the hologram would flicker) - Fishing challenges have been moved to Lava Fishing (due to ongoing abuse of the challenges from alts) - /island info GUI will now display what tier spawners an island currently has unlocked - Players are now able to give their pet Ravagers a custom name - Players can now feed the Ravagers more than 1 food at a time - Fixed a bug where Ravagers did not kill Snow Golems or Dragons - Upon breaking spawners, they will now go directly to your inventory (rather than dropping) - New booster has been added 'Increased Premium Hoe EXP' - Mystery Money has been modified to try and ensure the reward no longer goes to an alt account - Snowballs have been introduced to Spleef (Throwing them will break snow) - Experience has been removed from voting keys (replaced with higher usage sell wands) - Premium Harvest Hoe experience has been added to voting keys - Islands can now allow trusted players and visitors to Manage Robots in the permissions GUI End Dimension: The biggest piece of content for players next season is the addition of the End dimension. This new dimension acts as an extension of your Skyblock Island and serves a very unique purpose, granting players access to brand new and powerful island upgrades. Located on your end island players will find 8 End-Berry plants available to unlock, all of which require completion of a specific crop challenge (these challenges can be completed by anyone on your island). By watering, growing and harvesting these End-Berry plants, players will be able to invest into these new upgrade paths (upgrades can be purchased by talking to the NPC on your end island). Prior to entering the end, islands are required to complete the challenge of killing 1,000 Power Phantoms on their nether island. Once unlocked, the End dimension can then be accessed by entering the portal located on your nether island (alternatively players can use the command '/is end'). Ravager Improvements: Last season, ravagers made their way to our Skyblock server and will be receiving some quality of life updates this following season. As per feedback, players will now be able to feed their pet ravagers more than 1 food at a time (we understand how painful this became)! Players will also be able to give their ravagers a custom name (which will appear above it), after all they are your pet and deserve a loving name! New Island Upgrades: Through the new End dimension content, islands will have access to purchase 3 brand new and powerful island upgrades. The first upgrade will make it so that all mobs that die on your Skyblock island will drop additional drops, allowing you to create more powerful grinders. The second upgrade allows islands to reduce their Autosell tax rate, allowing for efficient use of Autosell chests whilst paying much less tax. The third upgrade allows islands to upgrade their Emerald Vaults and reduce the tax. By upgrading your Emerald Vault, all emeralds which are stored in there will be worth more island levels (a necessity for those competing top islands). Explosive Shovels: Explosive Pickaxes and Explosive Axes have existed on Skyblock for many seasons now. They have both become a staple necessity when it comes to knocking down those pesky builds and renovating your island. Explosive Shovels will be joining the collection next season, and can be obtained through the same methods as the other tools! Miscellaneous Changes As always with new seasons, it is our primary focus to ensure we deliver enough content, quality of life changes and bug fixes to satisfy our community! Players can expect to see brand new builds alongside a smoother gameplay experience with a handful of our backend plugins being updated with performance improvements.
