    I recently noticed that besides /chatreport, there's no real method for contacting a staff member for general questions, such as "are you allowed to do {X}"

    Therefore, I am creating a suggestion for this command

    The main reason I think this command would be beneficial to the server is that it would allow players who do not have discord to contact a staff member easily.

    How the /helpop command would function:

    Lets say a server member has a question for a staff member, and either does not have discord or just does not want to use discord.

    The user would type "/helpop are you allowed to to do {X}" and the server would respond with something like:

    ======================================
    Thank you, your request has been received.

    Your request ID is: {Randomly generated string}

    ======================================

    and the server would send something like the following to every staff member:
    ================[NEW REQUEST]================
    ID: {Same randomly generated string}
    Username: {Username of requestee}
    World: {Subserver the requestee is currently on}
    Request: {The question/request being asked}
    [TELEPORT TO USER] [RESPOND TO USER]
    =============================================
    clicking "teleport to user" would teleport the staff member to the requestee and immediately vanish them, while marking the request as taken

    clicking "respond to user" would respond with something like "Please type /respond {Same randomly generated string}", while marking the request as taken

    If you have any questions or concerns about this, please respond.

    Heyonya!

    It does sound like a nice idea, but there are some drawbacks like a new way for people to bother and annoy staff members. That's just me assuming the worst though. If you need help from a staff member, try to find one online, they are pretty active! Another way is to just check the rules of the server and use discord to contact staff!

    which is why there would be a cooldown on the command...

    Hey there! The cooldown for /chatreport is 60 seconds, so assuming that it'll be the same cooldown people could still theoretically spam staff. A useless message popping up every minute is still annoying. Again, this is assuming the worst, but recently, people have been really nasty to staff and disrespecting them, so I wouldn't be too surprised if it happened.

    Most servers have a help op command cool down set to around 3-5 minutes and if someone misuses the command they receive a punishment... there’s really nothing bad about adding this

    I am neutral about this. Reason is

    - Even though there will be a cooldown AND ban, people will still abuse this system
    - People will start using it to report hackers in Minigames and we cannot join on-going Minigames yet
    - Who would see this message? All staff? Helpers don't have access to teleport commands.

    If people want to contact staff, you can either /friend us or hop around a sub server. You will eventually find one, most commonly Skyblock, Prison or Factions. Until we get full moderation tools, this command will not be as useful

    To have a player 'find' staff in game is just not convenient. People simply won't abuse the helpop command because they'll be banned if they do.
    The minigame issue is clearly a problem but you said staff cannot join on-going minigames YET, clearly staff will be able to in the future and this won't be an issue any longer.
    If a staff member doesn't have permission to teleport, they're practically just chat mods to say the least. A simple way to fix this is only allow staff members with the teleport command to see these messages.
    In my personal opinion, the server is asking for players to scream in chat when there is a hacker, this command is an easy fix to that problem.

    I do think this would be a nice addition, although it would have drawbacks as players would have a new way to spam commands and waste staffs time by simply just spamming random stuff.
