This is quite simple, the reset was 3 days ago, vines were selling for 200$ and today they nerfed it to 100$ and 12 hours later to 15$. People were already making their farms focusing on that great source of money and since this season has more expensive spawners why would you take it down so hard? We want vine back! (both the app and the selling price)
It gives us who got a late start an unfair advantage to those who farmed all weekend on vines. Now they're ahead, and we are now stuck behind, they already have their spawners and we don't. Extremely unfair, the most fair thing to do is AT LEAST to change it back to 100$, least that you can do.
yea my island members and I just recently bombed our whole island because we were sad of the vine debuff.
i literally made a huge farm for nothing its sad they brought it down so low for no reason everyone was so set on making money
I understand why you guys are upset about the vine nerf; they made a lot of money and you "wasted your time" creating them at the start of the season. However, melons made me so much money and have always been decent, so please, the change happened, and melons were better anyway since they were nerfed to $100. I tried vine farming, but it was just to tedious for me to watch my shear durability and the vines don't even break fast; something I enjoy about farming melons. I think it would be fine to increase the sell price to $100, but $200 is a stretch. Besides, farming vines isn't really a skyblock thing to do, and I think farming melons are more fun even if they make less money. ~Bhaut
I believe we need to keep it at 15 or at most 50, they are still the easiest way to make money for extremely new players, and its 2 days into the season, i made about 20m off vines while my island members made a melon farm so im probably extremely bias, but you need to calm down and switch over to melons, you lose like 100-200k an hour from old vines lmao.
There are plenty of other viable ways to make money, The problem with vines was that we did not take into account they were afkable, thus bringing in dumb amounts of money into the economy. This was a vital change, if you crunch the numbers you would see that aswell. They will not be changing back, as it would deem every other crop useless once everyone catches on to how much could have been made from vines. Thread locked.
