Hey everyone! People from the Survival community may know me. For those who don't I am PlayerUnbound. I main Skyblock 1 and Survival. One thing I have seen as a survival players is that survival is really just a fall-back sub-server. Survival is typically most popular when people are looking for something to do when they are waiting for the next season. An example of this would be the latest reset of Skyblock, introducing Season 9. Once Season 9 reset the numbers on Survival Dropped making the player-base lower. One thing I believe that can aid in this would be to hold more events in Survival. I know that httpmeme has recently announced an event, but other than that I don't see very many survival events, I feel like if we had more it would encourage players to play more and this would slowly yet effectivly increase the survival fan-base. Some ideas that come to mind when I think of a Survival Event would be: - Elytra Obstacle Courses - Boat Racing - Plot Comps. These are just some events that I think would be an amazing addition to the Survival Sub-Server and I would love to hear your guy's input on this topic!
mmMmmmmm as being a survival quitter and rejoiner of this server.. i mean. uwu. as a survival player for majority of the seasons... i agree with your points. survival does tend to get neglected in a sense that players seem to find it boring.. and it’s not for everyone.. but since this reset w/ the 1.12.2 backend i can see it getting gud... i really like your ideas and the event that’s being hosted later this month by httpmeme.. and i hope to see more events hosted on survival.. as well as prison except for drop parties and lms tehee.... anwyays.. for elytra obstacle courses, i like this but would this be where it’s a “b.y.o.s(tuff)” and players would have to have an elytra to participate or would some players who don’t have an elytra be provided w/ one... n’ like same for rockets... for boat racing... yk that boat fly hack n’ prolly some other boat hacks :floshed:... would u think that’d get used by players or, like, nah.... i don’t really have questions ‘bout the others but yeh... anwyays overall, i totally completely plus juan this idea andwould love to see events hosted on survival! // +1 sorry for the weird questions or whatever... but papprieations for you taking the time to write out this post and acknowledge the lack of attention survival seems to get... :D :D ew this post became longer than expected that’s what she- nvm have a great day! ~puposaurus :D
Hoio! I absolutely love this idea honestly. I don't remember the last time there was a event held in survival. And for the elytra thing, we could ask players to bring their own items, but for those who don't have, I don't think it would be much of an issue. Since we can just get them some, unless tons of people that don't have elytra show up. But yea more events in survival would truly bring the community more closer and it would be fun for every one! My personal favorite would be the boat race xd I also don't believe that hack would be used because it's just a fun event first off, but even if it did happen they would get banned for client modifications so there would be no use in even trying.
