Teaming in LMS needs to be bannable

hello! i’m sorry but i’m going to have to major disagree with you on this. for starters, you don’t give examples or really go into depth of why n’ such. and since season5 the lms was changed from the way it was previously the last season which helped minimize the teamers and length of lms events compared to how it was in season4 (seeaaon1-3 didn’t have lms); however, as we all know, that didn’t stop them. some reasons why i don’t think it should be bannable is because it’s kinda hard to tell if someone really is teaming or not.. since sometimes players 2v1 then clean up and/or in the final 6 or 5 or whatever some players usually team n’ such like 3v3 or 2v2 etc.

and although teaming in lms can be annoying, that’s also how prison pvp is.. there’s gangs n’ teams and although not all pvp is 2+v1 or whatever it is still something that’s p commmon in prison pvp and i don’t see why it can’t be in a prison pvp event :fLushed:

YES YES YES YES YES! Its so annoying when its you and a team of 8 left in the finals of an LMS! LIke SRSLY this needs to be changed!

 

I completely disagree with this idea, but I can see where you're coming from. Teaming in LMS is quite annoying when your SOLO, try and get 2-3 friends on and play LMS. It's very fun to gang up on players and do team fights, and it's very exciting to be the last couple of players fighting. Although now-a-day LMS isn't as fun as old LMS it's still fun fighting other players with a couple of your friends. Even if you can't play LMS with some friends, teaming should definitely not be bannable.

It's also a very common thing when players in gangs team-up since, well, they're in gangs. I'd just suggest getting into a gang or playing with a couple friends!

First off LMS is not a prison exclusive event @puposaurus , second it will basically need a complete overhaul in order for teaming to actually stop. Things like labymods nametags, optifine mod / client (lunar bl etc) capes and of course disc make the current LMS a complete mess, and to be honest the combat inside of it (even in fair situations which only happen in extremely rare cases) kind of sucks too. I support this idea but it will require a complete change to how LMS works, but I would support doing that as well.

 

I think teaming all together should be banned as it is a little unfair regardless.

 

I can both see where you're coming from, but disagree with you at the same time. I have, in many cases, gotten quite late int can LMS only to be slaughtered by a team of 5, but I think that's part of the game. Gangs are a core part of Prison, and factions are, well, the entire premise on factions. By allowing people to make these teams, it gives more value and incentive to use core features like gagngs and factions in an attempt to win LMS. If you were to take away that ability to team, it would greatly reduce the incentive of creating a gang on prison.

The problem with this argument is that the entire premise of LMS is oriented around solo play, it's called last *man* standing not last gang / faction standing, and if that was the case why are there currently mechanics built into it to prevent teaming? (Names hidden, skins hidden, minecons hidden). In addition, LMS does not give you some insane reward, it's good but not great by any stretch so it's not like this is the sole reason, or even much of a reason that these groups on the subs are created. Consider LMS's actual purpose before disagreeing with the proposal on a faulty basis. (I will edit this if I turn out to be wrong but the entirety of LMS leads me to believe that it is intended as a solo event)

 

It is also worth noting that (at least on factions) there are already team oriented events so there is no need for LMS to be one (although it is not LMS's purpose as explained above). I have unfortunately not played prison enough to know if there are other events besides LMS, but if there are not why not suggest some? I know that the team events on facs always get people to be quite active for them. Either way, this is not the role that LMS is (currently) intended to fulfill.

 

I do agree it is annoying, but its totally random on who u can see in it, (if that makes sense). Unless you play on badlion, labymod, ect. you can see their capes or maybe their cool cosmetics. but i personally dont think it should be bannable

 

I think that teaming in LMS shouldn't be bannable, but some alterations need to be made in how many can team. When your solo having more than a 3v1 is already tough enough and having an even larger team is just unfair.
