Hey Survival Homies Welp as you all know we are 3 days, 12 hours, 10 minutes and 31 seconds into Season 7 of Survival Plots woohoo! My Question To ya’ll is this. What are your likes and dislikes about this season? Anything that needs work anything that should be added back, love, hate, what is it? I’ll Start Shall I? Likes: Spoiler: Likes 1: It is 1.12, a perfect game mode to update it to a newer version and adds many more blocks into the system. 2: No Spawners: It is so much more fun getting loot now by exploring rather then AFK’ing. 3: Elytra, Elytra is great. 4: It’s Hard mode now, It was no hard finding mobs like wither skeletons, zombie pigmen, ghast etc on easy mode so I am glad it is hard Mode. 5: You can kill the ender dragon, personally haven’t done it, but I will 100% soon. 6: No /fly in resource world, much more appropriate for Survival. 7: Dirt Under Plots: At first this was a wtf is this ew why thing but now I understand, it is so much better for farms and is much easier to dig. 8: Armour stands work apparently, This is really good :D. 9: Holograms: I cannot wait to use these in the future. 10: 1.9 PVP.... sound effects **thwack, whack** Dislikes: Spoiler: Dislikes 1: Just a little bit too much terrain on plots: I get where the idea is coming from and don’t get me wrong it does create light to untouched plots but almost all the plots that people who play a lot are somehow dug out. You can keep the pond and remove the hills or just remove it all itself but there is not one flat place to build. I believe they should make it like a plains biome with ponds yes, trees yes, hills yes but some flat space. 2: The PVP has a cool down on 1.9 for some reason, not deeply upset compared to others who JUST PvP but still worth mentioning but I can live with it. 3: Beetroots can not be sold to the shop even though you can harvest them, they should add that. 4: Few bugs like Leave Decay and Elytra making you not take damage but they should be fixed soon hopefully. 5: People leaving over changes that are good :( Feel free to do the same spoiler format as I did. I get why the spawners were removed, but the plot world setup doesn't help either. That almost makes spawners necessary as you can't build animal farms. Also kids killing villagers and destroying world spawners is such an obvious thing, but not taken into account with the decision apparently. Overall, if mods can be more active against the immature brats it could be good. But I doubt it. I've yet to see a server where that actually happened.
Love it less p2w the pvp is kinda fun and exploration with elytras is a blast love the fireworks in the kits. I like to see staff online and for the first time I have seen admins actually playing the game. Dislikes The plot terrain Likes fly disabled in FB, the new blocks, no spawners, and the active player base at the restart. I also enjoy the new envoys.
I don't really play Survival much @___Sean___, but one thing is to let a maximum of 365 players on at a time so it's more fun for more people. And that just about sums up my thoughts on Survival season 7.
I personally haven't played much survival in the past, but ive been starting to play it and its been fun! I dont know how it was the last few seasons, but I like it so far :)
I'm a little annoyed with some of the changes, namely 1.12.2 and the inability to /fly in the resource worlds. I exclusively play on 1.8.9, and the new backend has caused severe lag issues for me. Oftentimes, I can't walk more than 5 blocks before being pushed back, and this is a persistent issue. Other than that, the reset seems to be promising, and I hope once all the bugs are ironed out, it will be an enjoyable experience.
That absolutely had to go, it never should be allowed for anyone, on any server, except admins. It's an unfair advantage and makes an already easy game ridiculously easy and not fair to other players who can't fork out cash.
Hey! I also am not the biggest fan of the plots It is nice to have the terrain but i defiantly liked it way better when it was more flat. I also dont really enjoy that much that spawners were taken away. What I do like though is that the /shop is way more clean and easier to acces(Not 1000 items to buy/sell on there). I also really enjoy all the new things added like the Ender dragon, elytra, new mobs and other things Have a nice day!
