If you're a non, you've probably gotten demolished by Sharpness V Fire Aspect 2 Swords. You're having a nice peaceful fight, and then someone swoops in and one-taps you. As the first post on the KitPvP subthread, I thought this would be a nice way to start it. Your inventory is the most important thing. If you are missing one important thing, it can lead to your death. If you don't want to die, your inventory should look like: Your inventory should consist of: -Protection 4 Armour (Protection 3 if you can't get Protection 4) -Sharpness 5, Fire Aspect 2 Diamond Sword -Punch 2 Bow (Optional) -2+ Gapples -32+ Crapples -/kit potions (For when you run out of potion effects) -Healing Potions (so you do not get quick dropped) Now, without one of these items you're bound to weakness, which means you are an easy kill. If you don't know how to get a God Sword / Full Protection 4, here's how. You wont have a kit with Protection 3 Armour. What I recommend is either: -Buying Protection 4 / Protection 3 Armour from /ah -Taking floor loot at spawn until you find it -/kit weekly If you managed to get 2 sets of Protection 3 Armour, that's great! You can do /vote to gain experience. If you have 16 levels or more, you can combine 4 pieces of armour to make Protection 4! Anvils can be located at the left and right side of spawn. Don't forget to open vote keys, but do it after you combine the armour, and then you can have more levels to combine the sword. Alternatively, if you can not vote to get experience / don't have enough you can do /shop to open the shop GUI and buy experience bottles. God Gapples By doing /vote, you can get 4 golden apples for free! I recommend putting two in your inventory (one if you are about to die, one for hackers, but all-around they are great), and putting the rest in your enderchest or vault. Crapples You can either buy them from /ah or /shop or you can gather them from floor loot. /kit hourly might have crapples. Crapples are very important and you will need them. Healing Potions Splash potions of healing are good to prevent you from getting quick dropped. Having 18 or more in your inventory is good for fighting other players with good gear, or just for hackers in general. You can do /kit rookie to get one for free, and just keep doing /kit rookie to gain infinite healing potions! Punch 2 Bows are very good. Most people with Protection 4 Armour use these. They are good for escaping fights and catching up to people. They can also be used to kill noobs who run away. People use punch bows to propel themselves forward. They hold right click for a short amount of time, jump forward and voila, you've been punched forward 5 blocks. You can get these by doing /ah (They generally cost $150+, so good luck.) also by making them yourself. By doing /kit rookie you can get a free bow (throw away everything else) and checking if Punch is an option to enchant. If it is not, enchant it with the lowest enchant needed and repeat until you get Punch. People in the arena generally use slang when fighting. Here is some "Pot" - Means drink Strength, Swiftness and Fire Resistance from /kit potions (sometimes people can ignore you, so only do it if you're not fighting someone scummy, otherwise just run far enough to pot) "Res" - Means you have resistance from previously eating a golden apple "Clean" - Kill someone after they kill someone and they have gotten low "2v1" - Two people fighting one person, which gains an unfair advantage "P4 & S5" - Protection 4, Sharpness 5 "P5 & S6" - Legendary gear they can only be obtained through real-life purchases and event keys. Protection 5 and Sharpness 6. "Quick Dropped" - Killed quickly before you could gap or pot. "Gap Fight" - Eat a golden apple and try and kill someone while you have 30 seconds of invincibility "Keys" - A key/s to open the Treasure Chest at spawn You can go to spawn and fix everything in your inventory by going to the REPAIR ALL sign at spawn. If your helmet breaks mid-fight, its game over. It's very important to monitor your armour durability. Cause it can kill you if you do not check. A lot of people have perfected the art of KitPvP, with thousand of kills and barely any deaths, some people are just so hard to kill. The only real way to become good at KitPvP is by playing or watching videos. There are some good montages on YouTube you can watch to practice I know I may not be good, but this is the way I was taught how to play. GL in the future, hope this guide helped. People with /fix all sometimes let rookies give them their items and fix it. I would recommend carrying more than just 1 set when pvping. If you want Bedrock for free, you can always achieve it by voting every day from the first day of the month till the last and become the top voter. In this case, if you become top voter you get a 25$ voucher which helps a lot, especially if there is a sale. Also, voting everyday rewards 4 god gapples and $100 so do not forget to vote as it is essential for your advancement!
The only sure fire way to stay alive is just to not go into pvp, so don't get mad when you die, it happens to everyone. Also, you will need more than 16 regular golden apples (crapples).
Also carrying an extra kit potions is useless when you can just carry extra health pots. You can do /kit potions in combat
Yeah but you can get killed while typing. Also it's not a big deal whether you have extra potions or not. Its up to personal preference, also the amount of crapples is up to preference as well. I wouldn't carry 32 crapples because you can do /echest to get more. That sounds hypocritical but I've never run out of crapples before
Isn't this thread for rookies? And even if you have /ec you might as well carry 64 they're cheap and you can get killed typing /ec and getting them out of your enderchest.
Yeah only people who are dying should need this lmao, also 64 x 5 is $320 and rookies don't have that amount of money lying around. They need to conserve
Hello, I agree with your kitpvp guide a lot as my inventory is looks exactly the same as yours. It's important to stay alive as you want to keep the killing streak going and keeping up with the good stats. However, many rookies don't get this opportunity as it is much harder for them to grind the money and they don't have /kit advantage. Also, the main part is that they don't get /ext or /fix all which is giving quite a lot of advantage to donators rank making this still hard for rookies to come back in a 1v1 pvp with other users who have the game gear. It is a nice though for new guide though for new mcc users who brought high donators rank but it's not matched with rookies in my opinion. Have a nice day. Contact: DeathStrokeDevil#7256
Staying alive doesn't matter as much as killing people for good gear. If staying alive mattered no donators would ever fight eachother and they'd all just farm rookies. Also, you make money faster killing players for gear to sell than killing rookies for money
how I could I change it to be suitable for rookies and donators? If staying alive didn't matter no one would bring god gaps into pvp
I just changed some of the text and renamed it. I don't want to make another guide cause it will sound very similar to this one xd
Being a long time Kit player, as I am from Season 2 it is nice to see someone dedicating their time to a full guide for the sub-server. I can see you have covered most if not all the aspects of KitPvP and I really do commend you for this. I absolutely recommend this guide to anyone that is looking to play kit as a non-donator. Couldn't have said it better myself, great guide!
I'm not sure if your inventory layout is just showing what everyone should carry with them, but you should definitely have as many health pots in your hotbar as you can fit.
Hey Curious, I completely agree with your inventory setup i basically use the same thing but just some extra crapples or Strength and speed pots. Its very important to have health pots in your inventory just in case your crapple or gap lags and it doesn't work. Many Rookies jump in gold and just die immediately but if they save up and get a p4 set and with that inventory load out they can actually have a chance with ranked players :D
Loved when I saw this Guide, as I’ve seen most rookies or non-ranks struggling its awesome that you came up with this. It definitely shows you put your time into this. ;)
