hey, when the alex_markey will to create an new update for skywars?

I don't think there are any big updates planned for skywars.
Maybe there will be some maps added but apart from that i don't think anything else will change.

I too would like there to be a Skywars update, but there are some bigger things to do right now as far as updates (like changing the anti-cheat which Alex has been doing more of recently), so I do not think we will get one soon. Hopefully, we can push for one in the near future.

These days is very easy to get a free minecraft account and just download a free hack and screw the other player's game. These days every game I play there is a hacker flying around and killing everybody, so it will sure be a good thing to improve the anti cheat and make the game more pleasurable to the players!

 

Actually is the opposite. There are more and more hacks being developed and improved to bypass anti cheats and plugins, so there will always be hackers flying around no matter what.

 

Their anti-cheat is far more strict than any other out there. I have a friend who got banned because he does 15+ clicks a second and one time the anti cheat banned him.

 

MCC's anticheat is much weaker than that of Hypixel's, so there's not much to compare. A minigames revamp is (hopefully) coming soon, but we don't know when or even if that will happen. For now, we just need to wait.

 

Hopefully there will be a minigame revamp soon. It's been like 2 years since anything has been done to minigames and it's honestly a little saddening. While I was staff, several other staff members and I ttied to push for maps to be added to current minigames, but none got added. People have been asking for updates to minigames for ages now, I really hope for MCC's sake that Alex decides to finally give minigames a much overdue and much needed revamp.
As far as everyone is concerned and to answer your question, there currently is no official plan / date for an update for skywars unfortunately.

So basically, as past years have suggested, one major thing is released each year because of Markey's schedule. With 9 sub-servers that need to reset at least once each year and only 12 months in a year, that doesn't leave too much room for free-time to dedicate to other things. However, Mr. Markey DOES take advantage of these situations. This year, the major thing was the new website (Which has thus far been absolutely incredible and a well-needed change). A new website takes a TON of time, and the fact that he even did that is a huge deal. It's stuff like this where we have to be thankful for what's being put in rather than complaining about what hasn't yet. As far as an update for SkyWars goes and revamping the anti-cheat, it's hard to tell when that will come because that kind of information is not shared to us. However, like I said earlier, try to focus on the positive things that are being put into the server and hop off of SkyWars to test out the other servers if the hackers are especially high in numbers on a specific day or you just get fed up with it in general. You never know when you might find a new favorite server?... ;)
