The time has come once again for our Prison server to start a brand new chapter. This season is focussed on adding as much new content as possible to keep the game feeling modern and fresh! This changelog will detail all changes big and small for our upcoming reset which will be dropping this upcoming Saturday 18th April 3pm MST.

- Pickaxe Prestiges are now available and can be unlocked once your pickaxe reaches level 99
- Added a new Treasure Finder upgrade for pickaxes, increasing the chance to discover treasure pouches
- Introduced Treasure Pouches, which can be opened for a chance to gamble and earn rewards
- Players can now check all lottery winners from the current season
- The top contributor to a Community Goal will now receive all tips generated by the activated booster
- Added the /essencetop command to view players with the highest essence amounts
- PMD now features an ‘Automatic Mode,’ letting players use it without needing to mount it
- Expanded the Abyss Netherrack and Quartz mining leaderboards to display more detailed rankings for all players
- Fixed an issue where holograms showed hearts when viewed on client version 26.0 or newer
- Resolved a backend error in the Competitions plugin that occurred when the winner was offline
- Fixed an exploit in the ‘PvP Damage’ competition where players could damage gang members for easy points
- Fixed an issue where offline players would not receive rewards for daily top Netherrack/Quartz mining
- Abyss Mining Mole announcements will now broadcast to the entire server instead of just the Abyss world
- The Abyss mine will no longer reset while the Mining Mole is active, making it easier to find and defeat
- Fixed an issue where Mining Mole holograms could occasionally become stuck in Private Mines
- Fixed a bug where Prison Depths iron golems would sometimes attack the Community Goal zombie at the center of the map
- Mining armor experience has been added as a reward obtained from the Voting Villager

Pickaxe Prestiges:
Reaching level 99 with your pickaxe is no small achievement, and only a select few players ever make it this far, but until now the journey ended there. In the upcoming season, pickaxes that reach level 99 can enter Prestige Mode, unlocking a whole new layer of progression where each prestige grants a powerful bonus that increases your chances of discovering higher rarity treasure pouches. If you are curious about treasure pouches, you can find more details on them below, and with pickaxes able to be prestiged up to three times, it is time to push your limits and create the ultimate pickaxe. Treasure Pouches:
Treasure pouches are a brand-new rare drop that players can automatically discover while mining. These unique items can be opened for a chance to gamble, letting you decide how much you want to risk in pursuit of bigger rewards. Treasure pouches come in up to four different tiers, with higher tiers offering greater potential payouts. The tier you receive is directly influenced by your pickaxe’s current prestige, so the stronger your pickaxe becomes, the better your opportunities. Choose your gamble carefully.

Treasure Finder Upgrade:
This upcoming season, players will be able to invest their essence into a brand new pickaxe upgrade: Treasure Finder. This powerful upgrade increases your chances of discovering the newly introduced treasure pouches while mining. If you want to get the most out of your pickaxe, make sure you fully upgrade Treasure Finder to maximise the number of treasure pouches you uncover.

Essencetop Leaderboards:
A new command is arriving on Prison this upcoming season. Similar to /baltop, the new /essencetop command will let players view a live leaderboard of everyone on the server ranked by total Essence. Track how your wealth compares to the competition, climb the ranks, and compete to become the richest Essence holder the server has ever seen.

Nether & Quartz Top:
The Abyss mine is receiving a quality-of-life update this upcoming season. Last season introduced daily rewards for players who mine the most Netherrack and Nether Quartz, however only the top three contenders were visible. This season, the leaderboard has been expanded so players can view the full rankings, giving everyone a clearer picture of the competition and a better understanding of where they stand against others.

Previous Lottery Winners:
This upcoming season, every lottery winner will finally receive the recognition they deserve. No more logging in and wondering if you missed out on a win or checking too late to see the results. Players will now be able to view a complete record of all lottery winners throughout the season, including exactly how much each player won. This full history can be accessed at any time by interacting with the NPC located in the lottery world.

Automated PMD:
The Prisoner of Mass Destruction has long been a core feature on our Prison server, but we understand that the constant manual grind can become repetitive over time. In the upcoming season, we’re introducing a new advanced control system for the PMD, unlockable once you’ve manually destroyed 500,000 blocks. After unlocking it, players will gain access to an automatic control mode that allows the Prisoner to activate and clear your mine on its own, removing the need for continuous input while still rewarding the effort required to reach it.

Miscellaneous Changes
As always with new seasons, it is our primary focus to ensure we deliver enough content, quality of life changes and bug fixes to satisfy our community! Players can expect to see brand new builds alongside a smoother gameplay experience with a handful of our backend plugins being updated with performance improvements.
