    Hey folks,

What is everyone’s opinion on this season so far ?

Is there any new additions you really like to this season and is there anything you would like to see next season added ?

Personally I love the new addition of random challenges, it brings a competitive side to survival especially the mining as @Nikki_ would agree. I’d like to see a few more obscure mobs added to the “kill (mob)” challenge such as phantoms, wardens and silverfish. Foxes (yes I know I’m a monster) would also be a good addition.

Let me know your thoughts in the replies below and have a great day!

Personally I think the new challenge system is fantastic too.

In previous seasons there was /c challenges like in Skyblock. Maybe have A look at implementing that on a monthly reset basis with small milestone rewards like claim blocks, bank notes for the lower challenge tiers. Then the more you complete you get to things like unique chat icons and the very last tiers of reward, skin keys, event keys as rewards. It'll give players more want to be on and grinding away as the player count dips half way through the season.

The claim system overhaul is *chefs kiss* so kudos on that one staff team.

    Hello Harrison.

So far I've got no complaints whatsoever regarding the survival season. It's been nothing but great and I enjoy playing it whenever I can.

As far as additions go, I made a thread earlier on a cooldown that should be implemented for the /fix all command so that some more competitiveness is added to the season itself.

    Have a good day!

Some bugs sadly didn't get fixed (including sitting on stairs in the wrong direction) but overall I'm very happy with the new additions and especially the claim-specific permissions.

However, how dare you propose a challenge for killing as many foxes as possible! Those cute little animals living in taigas and eating from my garbage cans at night. Such behaviour is worth an infraction! (jk)

Personally, I am loving the season so far!

As Desiqn_ said the new addition of random challenges are so awesome (I have not won any but that is beside the point) and personally I have actually accomplished so much more that last season! last season I played for a max of 20 hours :(. But now I'm playing every second I can and I'm so eager to get unbanned so I can play again (Don't worry I didn't do anything bad bad).

But I do agree with Desiqn_ he himself is defiantly a monster!

Never mind, I totally take back what I've said previously. Sorry for the misunderstanding, and hope we can remain friends. Fank.

I was being held hostage while writing this reply by a staff member that goes by the name of "Pillaa". I apologize for the confusion.

Thanks and have a good day!

This is my first survival season where I've played for more than like... ten minutes so I don't really have anything to compare it to. But it seems pretty chill. Definitely more collaborative than the other subservers, which is a cool vibe, but sometimes gets a little dull I guess? Have to find ways to make your own fun lol. But the prison culture really isn't what it once was in the glory days like s3, so I'm happy.

It might be cool to have a slayer job similarish to sb had, and maybe things like withers and ender dragons could give more money and then difficult mobs a little less, easy hostile mobs even less and then passive mobs the least. IK there's challenges for things like that, but there's also challenges like fishing and breaking sand and those are also jobs, lol. Plus it might motivate people to do more hands on mob farming and less, like sheepwool auto-grinders and such.

Also also, I know I don't really understand how the logistics of the 3 worlds work/moving stuff between them, but it'd be really nice if a way was designed to be able to take mobs from the resource world back into the overworld, or at least pets. We're pretty early seas rn but it feels like once all the woods have been explored and the villages utilized in the overworld, players' ability to acquire a pet will be at the mercy of those who got them first. Maybe some sort of mod that allows you to put wolves and cats into a container a la bucket of axolotl/tadpole, or maybe a way to acquire spawn eggs for them? Like idk maybe in keys or in vote treasures, vote chests... idk but something.

And some sort of fix to the animals despawning issue i keep reading about :O I haven't experienced it personally but it's made me scared to place any animals or pets lol. :( I hope that gets fixed this season though.

Maybe unpopular opinion but e7 tools could be added as like supermegarare myth loot or something, keeping e6 common? Or some other means of getting. Of course if that happened, next season someone would ask for e8, but you know.

Some sort of end resource world would be nice, but of course maybe too op? Some way to get into an end resource world via the normal resource world maybe? Overworld's end is gonna be looted at most within the month, anyone who joins later in the year is a little screwed. IK there's elytras in vote calendar, but ppl still wanna have fresh opportunities to explore yk? Maybe something along those lines

And just a little gripe, I wish the rules regarding "griefing" and claims were laid out more explicitly. I was threatened to be potentially banned over a claim i built on and later deleted, either because it was "too close" or because i unclaimed it or because it was in a state of greater disrepair than I had left it in? Never got real clarification on that and that level of ambiguity seems concerning. Maybe like somewhere listing exact block distances/requirements, and procedures for /claim deleting if you've built near someone else?

All in all though I'm chilling. The fishing competitions are fun even though i never win LMAO. Maybe a competition for breaking a certain type of wood? Idk if those exist and I just haven't seen once yet or what. Cherry/mangrove could be interesting. Birch/oak would be infuriating but funny like the sand ones lol.

I love this idea O.O I pretty consistently find myself lacking something to do and trying to source motivation from like, building a cool base to impress people or whatever, but sometimes it gets a little tiring grinding at like woodcutter or hunting for debris at y15 when there's no real end goal to accumulating money or levels outside of flexing your riches lmao. I'd be especially motivated if things like unique chat icons were limited edition for that month's challenge calendar, it'd be like a little survival Battle Pass. People could flex having OG cosmetics that will never be offered again

Also I know we aren't really structured like they are but I kind of wish we had a daily lottery like pris and sb have.
