Really? In 2022? I thought we were past this, MCC. How could you pull this kind of crap. Please include at LEAST provide an option for the they/thems. They are our PARTNERS and we must stand with them (them as in plural, not singular).
There is a clear discrepancy and this is a simple fix really. I have a few ideas for some fixes. - 1. Change the original question to "What is your sex? Male/Female". This is a much more inclusive option, as sex and gender are seperate. 2. Make 2 questions, 1 for sex and 1 for gender. 3. (Optional) Add a pronoun question. This makes this question MUCH easier for people who do not fit the gender binary. 4. (Following the optional section) Make these categories a free answer and not a preset. Hey! Thank you for this valuable feedback! We will include the option "Other" and keep it as Gender, since sex is an old-fashioned term and does not respect the wide spectrum of genders that one can have (even simultaneously).
