PLEASE READ EVERYTHING! Hey everybody! Hope you’re doing well. Since KitPvP has been quiet, @AcceptedAppeal and I are hoping to spice it up with a KitPvP tournament! This tournament will happen on Sunday, January 23rd, at 2PM EST. All are welcome to join using the form! Google forms would let you know if we were. This is simply to help prevent people submitting multiple forms or botting. 1st Place | $10 Buycraft Code OR 1x LabyMod Cosmetic of Choice 2nd Place | 1x Mythical Key 3rd Place | 1x Ancient Key This will be a self-supplied (bring your own items) single elimination PvP tournament. You must prepare all the items before the tournament so that you’re ready to participate when it starts. You can only use the items listed below. In addition, you cannot use any commands (/fix, /chest, /kit, etc.) while fighting in the tournament. The items you self-supply yourself with are the only items you’ll get to use per fight. You can resupply after each fight. Failure to follow these rules will result in disqualification from the tournament. LOADOUTS PER DUEL: 1x Full Diamond Armor Protection 4 Set (NO extra enchantments) 1x Diamond Sword Sharpness 5 Fire Aspect 2 (Extra enchants EXCEPT knockback are fine) 1x /kit potions 1x Super Golden Apple 6x Regular Golden Apples 12x Splash Health Potions *Reasoning: Kit has moved toward more HP fighting than crapples, but fights still can’t be too long. Example inventory below. There will always be 2 fights going on. They will be enclosed by a wall of glass blocks within the arena so that players cannot interfere with the fights. When it’s your turn, you’ll be teleported into the arena. Players can spectate from outside the glass wall. Teleporting into or using /back to get inside the protected glass walls during other fights will result in punishments. If you lose a fight, there are no givebacks, so your items would go to your opponent. By joining the tournament, you risk losing your own self-supplied items. Confirmation of this is in the form. You must be online and present while the tournament happens since we’ll be saying who’s up. If you fail to respond or show up, you’ll be disqualified. We don’t know how long each fight will last, so you’ll have to pay attention. There will be a Community Events Call / VC in the MCCentral Community Discord. We suggest joining this since you can hear when you’re up. Then, you can always do other things while listening in, but make sure your Minecraft is at least launched so that you can immediately join when it’s your turn. The bracket will also be posted in the community events call voice channel chat, so those who listen in will know what’s up. This call is not required but highly encouraged. For spectating, we will teleport everyone involved in the tournament to an area outside the map. You cannot PvP in this area. You can view the two fights from either above or from the side of the enclosed area that we’ll teleport everyone to. You cannot teleport people here. This is to keep everything organized on our part. Help us make this as easy as possible so there can be more in the future. Doing either of these will result in disqualification and possible punishments. Please respect the tournament and rules. Breaking tournament rules will result in disqualification and may result in punishments. When you sign up through the form, you agree that you read everything and agree to the rules and format. This tournament should not last that long. Your gear will not break in the span of 1 god apple, 6 normal golden apples, and 12 splash health I potions. We do not want the duels going for that long. Chheda or I will fix gear if you cannot (after the duel); note, the armor goes to the duel winner.

This is an Interesting Tourney, I have pros/cons about this tournament. I do have a question tho, So if players do end up winning repeatedly and their inventory is full do the items that they have collected from players that they have killed go to their enderchest or /virtual chest or anything of the sort? It would make sense but it would be a bit of an disadvantage. -Strxz
They don't automatically go to their /chest or /ec. When I said you cannot use those commands, that's only while fighting players. When you're spectating, you can use commands. People can't enter the arena, so after one player is killed, the other can store the items when they're teleported back into the spectator area. This is a no giveback tournament, as specified in the post, so the items go to the winner and the winner can do whatever so long as they follow the format of the rules (ex: can't carry the loser's items and yours for the next match. Only can use what's stated for each round and can re-supply yourself after each fight). If that didn't make sense, lemme know and I'll reply again.

This other option is possible thanks to AcceptedAppeal and our partnership with LabyMod! A typical fight using this layout with no fix all should last anywhere upwards of 1 minute 30 seconds, assuming you use everything.
