An admin said this in one of the threads I've read. This leads to the inquiry: Fouffy made a really interesting point and this is a genuine question I have for the admins without trying to throw shade at any of the staff in the slightest, what influence do the admins have in terms of the server doing new things? I well understand that the admins are responsible for the managerial aspects but I just wanna ask, what percentage of ideas that admins and other staff personnel go through with Alex and are implemented. In other words, how seriously are the admins' ideas taken by Alex and Vislo, and how many of them get implemented? I don't wanna get into the details of the MCC minigames revamp and I don't deny it has some advantages but don't you think like if the revamp basically killed the player base Alex didn't really do what the player base wanted and instead followed a more personalized approach towards the revamp? Just to emphasize again I know that it is completely out of the admin's arena to talk about non-managerial stuff but this is just an inquiry and if that information is secret for whatever reason I respect that too. And if the admins have an actual influence on Alex, do you think maybe you can steer that and make Alex more player base oriented, I know that he works his *** off daily and the daily change log speaks for itself, but maybe he is directing his energy towards the wrong direction because he is losing players :/// and I fucking love MCC minigames and it's just heartbreaking to see it die LMFAO I'm not even gonna lie. I do believe that Alex has innovated something special with making this server, I have been with MCC since the literal beginning I've watched it grow from 60 players to 10,000, and I've seen what Alex and Vislo can do, it's just maybe they should take a different approach considering the player base is dying severely And if any admins are looking at this please tell me your opinion.
You bring up some good points here akhu, I agree with you that the revamp has a lot of good changes to it but it also had a couple of debateable ones. One example of this was the leveling system they completly wiped, personally I didn't care too much but I know a lot of people had been grinding the server for years on end to reach levels uptowards of 10k just to get that progressed removed. Maybe a good solution to this would be to listen more to the community, yes I am sure 4 admins and two owners in a call can come up with some great ideas but listening to the community even more might not be a that bad of an idea. I am aware of that they already do listen to the community a lot with prison resets for example. However with the minigames reset I feel like there were some questionable decisions that might've decreased the playerbase. In conclusion do more forum posts before resetting/revamping something and do more voting polls so you can get the communitys input from even the lazy ones who cba.

When a staff member abused their power they use ti answers to me and i stop them no matter if it was 1 mod or 6 admin i did not care...but there are no more heros and all my enemies are gone black listed... New evil replaced them... I said this a Long time ago... The way you recruit staff is wrong... Reporting 100 players to become a staff sounds like ya trying to recruit the wrong type of people
TwinBlade I think you’re a bit off topic but I also kind of agree. For the original post, I think that they indeed went for something a bit different that what the player base was going for. I am sad that skywars died and I’m pretty sure nobody was hoping for a different lobby, having skywars hidden. The new currency system is just a bit confusing since everyone one was used to the old one. I have probably over 1k hrs playing skywars and the reason why I liked it is because it was so different than let’s say hypixel skywars or any other skywars. They had an idea and hoped people would like it. Turns out, by changing the aquarium water, the fish died.
hi, I totally get where this is coming from. To give some sort of information about this topic how this all goes. If you have a good idea you can make a suggestion on the forums and people discuss about this topic. Most of the time staff members also read over those threads and even reply to some. If staff think this is a good idea they can contact an Admin about it bring it up, or make a staff ticket where they can suggest something. A suggestion ticket can be about anything, staff wise, server wise etc. Administrators have a weekly call with Alex where we discuss all the tickets together and talk about them. If we have an idea we bring it up. If its guidelines or in game rules rules wise it's mostly just Admins that talk about it. However, if it's about a subserver reset or say Minigames we bring it up with Alex. He will give his opinion on it, gives feedback and together with Vislo decides what to do with it. Most of the time he writes loads of stuff down on the to-do list since he simply just has loads to do. Can't blame them! It's just Alex and Jer that work hella hard on everything. With the minigames Alex and Jeremy try to get as much feedback as possible. Hence why there were suggestion threads. Staff members also played a big role, loads of imput and could play the beta to see if there were bugs etc. However, big decisions are made by Alex and Jeremy. In the end Administrators do not make those big decisions since we simply don't own the server ;) We can always give our opinion on it and Alex does listen to those. In the end hes the boss, he makes the big decisions c; Hope this gives a view on how stuff goes. If you have any questions feel free to msg me on discord. Dms are always open <3
Ohhhhh it makes sense now, thanks, It's just it would be hard to see MCC die or turn into another LavaCraft, but I know Alex works very hard obviously. Maybe it's just like a process that happens with everything where things reach their peak. From what you described the process sounds great and effective. Maybe the player base issue isn't something to do with Alex specifically and more to do with the nature of the popularity of things. Thanks again.
