    Introduction:


    Now I know what you’re thinking, surprise surprise, Jakes back with another begging thread about adding One In The Chamber! Not this time! I’ve already said everything I need to say about why the minigame should be added back, however I haven’t said what exactly I would like to see if OITC was brought back. So this thread is pretty much that, a complete concept document listing all my ideas for a return/revamp of One In The Chamber, did you think I would just settle for a basic return, nah we want a complete remaster! (Jk I would take anything One In The Chamber related at this point).


    One In The Chamber Concept Doc


    OTIC Concept - Basics, up to 12 players, free for all, pvp gamemode. Each player is equipped with a bow, with a single arrow and a stone sword. The bow will always one shot enemy players. A kill of any kind will reward the player with a new arrow. Getting a kill will give you a point, the winner is the first player to get 25 points. Simple right?

    Maps

    All original maps should return to the map pool (if possible), including.


    After release, maps can be removed from rotation, changed and community made maps added depending on feedback from the community.

    Waiting Lobby

    Hopefully if possible, a new waiting lobby equipt with a sexy parkour. Leaderboards should also be displayed in the lobby as an incentive for players. Timer for game start should be no more than 45 seconds, timer starting after 3+ players are waiting in the lobby. OITC is a fast paced game and waiting time can kill the mood between games, in addition to this, fills are not super important with some games even being acceptable to run with just 2 players. Map voting can also be added to fit the theme with the other 3 minigames.
    Player shop
    Like the other 3 minigames, players will earn credits for playing the game (amount can be decided by owners as I am unsure of the current eco for credits) The shop will contain 2 different areas, one being perks and the other being kill streaks.

    Perks - I’ve created 4 perks to be upgraded to up to tier 5.

    Melee heal - Heal health after killing a player with a sword.

    T1 - 1 heart

    T2 - 1.5 hearts

    T3 - 2 hearts

    T4 - 2.5 hearts

    T5 - 3 hearts


    Arrow heal - Heal health after killing a player with an arrow.

    T1 - 0.5 hearts

    T2 - 1 heart

    T3 - 1.5 hearts

    T4 - 2 hearts

    T5 - 2.5 hearts


    Melee frenzy - Receive speed 1 for a duration of time after killing with a sword.

    T1 - 2 seconds

    T2 - 2.5 seconds

    T3 - 3 seconds

    T4 - 3.5 seconds

    T5 - 4 seconds


    Arrow Frenzy - Receive speed 1 for a duration of time after killing with an arrow.

    T1 - 2 seconds

    T2 - 2.5 seconds

    T3 - 3 seconds

    T4 - 3.5 seconds

    T5 - 4 seconds

    Kill streaks - a cool way to reward players who keep getting kills without dying, only 3 kill streaks can be equipped at once, and no more then 1 from each tier.

    Tier 1 kill streak (2 kills)


    • Tracking compass, points to nearest player, lost on death.

    • Explosive arrow, single shot, blast damage also 1 shots enemies.

    Tier 2 kill streak (5 kills)


    • Fireball Bombardment, a stick, point and click (stick disappears after click, 1 use) fireballs start falling from the sky randomly within a 5 block range of where aimed. Fireballs 1 shot enemies and reward the player with a kill. This lasts for 5 seconds.

    • Smite Rod, a blaze rod, when pointed smites down a strike of lightning, instantly killing whoever hit, rewarding the player with a kill. Can hit more than one target if enemy players are very close to each other. (blaze rod disappears after click, 1 use)

    Tier 3 kill streak (7 kills)


    • Death machine, player is rewarded with an infinity bow for 10 seconds. (Time starts after fired first shot). If killed they lose the bow.

    • Carnage, player is affected with speed 2 and their sword is upgraded to a diamond sword, this lasts for 10 seconds, carnage instantly starts on the 7th kill. If the player is killed during carnage they lose their effects and diamond sword.

    Tier 4 kill streak (12 kills)


    • EMP! Comes in the shape of a diamond, when right clicked the item disappears and all players are affected by EMP. EMP removes your bow from your inventory, removing all current effects on players and gives them slowness 1 for 8 seconds. If a player is killed whilst affected by EMP they are set back to normal. Player who uses EMP is not affected by EMP.

    Tier 5 kill streak (18 kills)


    • Nuke! Comes In the shape of tnt, when right clicked the item disappears and a countdown begins in the chat, counting down from 10. When hitting 1 every player is blown up and the win is rewarded instantly to the person who used Nuke. If another player reaches the score limit whilst Nuke is counting down it still ends the game and cancels the Nuke.

    Killstreaks' cost in the shop is completely up to the owners.


    Cosmetics - like from other minigames, cosmetics will carry over to OITC.

    Summary

    I realised that maybe OITC on its own might not be enough for bringing players to the server, hence the addition of kill streaks, I hope they didn't sound complicated at all, happy to answer any questions below. I believe Mcc needs to take a risk, bring something out that no other server is currently offering as their final minigame. This could be it. Thanks for reading my ideas, I would love to hear any feedback.

    Same as last time I am absolutely DYING to have one in the chamber added back to MCC. It goes without saying! I love the new perks and kill streaks, they make it more exciting than regular games! I really hope this can all be taken into account and sees an addition to the server in the near future :)

    one in the chamber is good game i would like to see a return of one in the chamber because before one in the chamber shut down i was a pretty avid one in the chamber player because i enjoyed playing one in the chamber and it brought me a lot of enjoyment while i played with my friends who were also pretty avid one in the chamber players

    please bring back one in the chamber
