Following up on the success of our last season, Prison Season 10 is arriving and it sure does bring some awesome game-changing mechanics to the Minecraft Prison community. This upcoming season of Prison builds heavily upon our brand new 'Private Mines' concept, adding some custom game-changing mechanics which have never before been seen in the Minecraft Prison community. This changelog will detail all changes big and small for our upcoming Prison Reset which will be dropping this upcoming Friday 20th August. Spoiler: Major Content Changes Major Content Changes - Plotworld has been removed (Merged into Private Mines) - Players are now able to create a Private Mine instantly upon joining a server (No longer requires Prestige 1) - Loads of new Private Mine permissions have been added (More customizability) - Players are now able to lock chests on their Private Mines (Lockette) - Players are now able to create Chest Shops on their Private Mines - Players are now able to place spawners on their Private Mines - Players can now upgrade the size of their Private Mine island - Prisoner Of Mass Destruction has been added to all Private Mines - Wheel Of Fortune has been added to all Private Mines - New command added "/pmine blocks" to view who has mined the most blocks on a Private Mine - New command added "/pmine chat" to toggle to Private Mine chat mode - New command added "/pmine inspect" to enable Private Mine inspect mode - Mob Statues have now been added to the shop (can be placed on Private Mines for decoration) - Teleport Pads have been added as a crate reward (can be placed on Private Mines) - Private Mine warps have now been added (/pmine setwarp <name>) to create warps for the public to use - New command added "/pmine logs" to view various different types of audit logs for your Private Mine - New command added for Donators "/block" to compact all items in your inventory into blocks - New command added "/pmine clear" to allow players to clear their Private Mine for a fresh start - Players are now able to queue boosters (so that when one booster ends, the queued booster instantly starts) - Voting Villager has now been implemented which brings forward some awesome new voting rewards - Combat Crystals have now been added (scattered around the PvP Wilderness) - New economy to keep things feeling fresh! - Ability to view when a booster was last activated Spoiler: Miscellaneous Changes Miscellaneous Changes - Fixed a bug where TNT could damage players on Private Mines - Fixed a bug where Admins were unable to rename some gangs under certain circumstances - Apple Pickers are no longer a reward from paid keys, they are now a reward from voting keys - /gang list will now display whether gang members are online or offline - Increasing your combat level will now reward you with more money every time you kill a player - New command added "/gems" which opens a GUI which will display some information regarding Robot Gems - Fixed a bug where right clicking a 'Rename Scroll' on a mob would rename the mob and consume the scroll Plotworld & Private Mines Merging To start things off, this is the most notable change that players will expect to see next season. Throughout Season 9 of Prison, the plotworld played a very awkward role. This season was when Private Mines were first introduced, which were practically a plot in itself. As the concept was still very new, we were not comfortable with removing the plotworld, however after seeing how successful the concept was, we have decided to go all out and merge everything cleanly into 1 location (that being your Private Mine). Next season, Private Mines will have a plethora of new features as they are the new home to all of your belongings! All players will be able to create a Private Mine instantly upon joining. You will be able to create shops, lock chests, place spawners, edit more permissions, clear your mine and much much more! It is important to note, the 'Mine' aspect of your Private Mine can still only be accessed once you achieve Prestige 1. Prior to prestiging, the main purpoes of your Private Mine will be the plot aspect of it (a way to place spawners, create shops and store your belongings). Once you have successfully reached Prestige 1, you will be able to unlock the ability to mine on your Private Mine. Private Mine Improvements With the Plotworld merging with Private Mines, it was clear that many vital changes were required. Because Private Mines are now the primary place for building and storage, we had to ensure gameplay goes as smoothly as possible with this change. Some of the Private Mine changes include the following: "/pmine chat" (Ability to toggle to Private Mine chat channel), "/pmine inspect" (Ability to inspect territory logs for your Private Mine), "/pmine blocks" (Ability to view who has mined the most blocks inside your Private Mine), "/pmine clear" (Ability to clear your Private Mine), "/pmine logs" (Ability to view audit logs), "/pmine warps" (Ability to set public warps), Ability to create Chest Shops, Ability to place spawners and the ability to lock chests. Wheel Of Fortune You heard correctly... The Wheel Of Fortune! As cheesy as it sounds, this wheel will have a very unique purpose in this upcoming Prison Season. The Wheel Of Fortune is located on all Private Mines and can be spun once per day (mining blocks is a requirement to spin the wheel). Upon spinning this wheel, players will instantly gain access to 1 of 5 available buffs for their Private Mine. This buff will last for exactly 24 hours, so ensure you make the most of it! These buffs include the following: Bonus Mob Drops on your Private Mine, Bonus Blocks whilst mining inside your Private Mine, Bonus Pickaxe EXP whilst mining in your Private Mine, Bonus Mob Spawns in your Private Mine and Bonus Robot gems in your Private Mine. If you are really lucky, you can land on the Jackpot (which will give you all 5 buffs)! Of course, a 24 hour buff is awesome, but that is not all that comes with the Wheel Of Fortune. Upon spinning the wheel, all players are guaranteed to win tickets for use on the Prisoner of Mass Destruction (PMD). Whilst spinning the Wheel Of Fortune, everyone really is a winner! More information in regards to the PMD can be viewed below. Did we mention you can also change the skin of your wheel? Check out this adorable 'Club Penguin' skin! Prisoner Of Mass Destruction The PMD is a unique concept designed to bring an entire new aspect to mining blocks. Access to the PMD is obtained using tickets (which can be obtained from the above Wheel of Fortune). The PMD effectively allows you to take control of a giant prisoner who has access to a unique arsenal of weapons which can wreck absolute havoc on your private mine! Fire a beam from his magical shank, launch bombs and conduct lightning strikes. Mining has never been this satisfying and rewarding! It is important to note, access to the PMD is limited to a certain amount of time. Ensure you make the most out of your time by purchasing upgrades, giving you access to more bomb ammo, more lightning strikes and a longer duration of time which you have control for. The PMD is a unique concept which we are very proud of, and a sure certain way to break the boring endless cycle of mining with a pickaxe. Combat Crystals This feature is dedicated towards our PvP community. We heard you all loud and clear when last season rolled out. It was clear the community was not impressed with the lack of content dedicated towards our pvpers. Players will find 'Combat Crystals' scattered around the Warzone. Upon punching one of these crystals, players will gain access to a set of effects for a short duration of time. As with anything, there is pros and cons. If you are unlucky, you may be hit with a set of debuffs, so ensure you are only using crystals when you feel it is absolutely necessary! Combat Crystals are a way to slightly change up the PvP environment which has remained the same for many years now. Of course, cooldowns are in place for balancing purposes. Mob Statues & Teleport Pads This upcoming season of Prison will be introducing a brand new item, which is available to all players for purchase from the ingame shop. Mob Statues! This item will allow players to spawn a statue of any mob on their private mine for decorative purposes. Players can customise and configure the statue by right clicking on it, which will then open a configuration GUI. Teleport Pads are also a brand new item being introduced to the economy this upcoming season. Teleport Pads are an awesome item which allows players to setup multiple pads around their mine, link them together and have people zip across your mine like magic! With an extremely intuitive setup process, players are able to set up to 12 teleporters on their mine, linking them together in whatever order they desire. Using teleporters allows players to branch out their creativity even further, bringing forward many possibility of new games, mazes, farms and much more! We can't wait to see some of the ideas that the community comes up with. Voting Villager & Pickaxe Experience Following in the steps of our Skyblock reset, voting is now more attractive than ever before. The 'Voting Villager' (Who you will find at spawn) allows us to reward players that help support our server. By voting daily, players will complete a calendar which they can claim rewards from. The deeper down the calendar you get, the more enticing the rewards become. One of the voting rewards added this season is a Pickaxe Experience Voucher. These vouchers can be dragged an dropped onto your Upgradeable Pickaxe as a way to quickly increase its level! Make sure you vote daily to make the most out of these available rewards. Miscellaneous Changes A lot of time has gone towards this Prison Reset. Our main goal was to bring something fresh and new which the Minecraft community has never before experienced on another Prison server. Whilst this changelog details the main changes, a lot of small quality of life changes have been made such as: The ability to queue boosters, Ability to view who is online in a gang, /block command for donators, Brand new spawn & Warzone, and of course further optimizations in all of our plugins!
