Hello people! Let me introduce myself to all of you! I am Veloxity, But just call me Jason, I've been on the minecraft server more than once and have played a bit on the server Most of what I played is Skywars and Capture the flag... And what I found out is that the people who play Capture the flag are some time very toxic... (example) when the game has started or when we are busy with a game for a few minutes Or if some random person starts spamming / swearing for a reason that you did something wrong such as Bow spam or focusing on him in the game to make him mad, Why not use the command /ignore add <playername> instead of the report website to make a report instead of ignoreing them with the command!
Hey there, This command does exist and it has been brought up multiple times of adding it to minigames which it 100% should be but not sure if it's possible since if you ignore users it's for that lobby area. Which every single minigame is a different lobby I'm not a developer or know much about plugins but it definitely should be added and probably will if it's possible.
Adding onto this: It can be very much so possible to add /ignore into mini games throughout the gameplay experience as the new revamp allows more features and code to be added without the need of a revamp to the entire mini games system (unlike our old spaghetti system prior). However, my personal go-to reason as to why this not a feature is because you need to communicate with your team. Making it possible to not see players' messages is troublesome because sometimes there is a useful gameplay message that needs to be sent to your team. While it might be nice to ignore some people (mini games can become a very toxic place), you can always /chatreport players if you believe they are breaking a rule so that a staff member can punish them accordingly. On behalf of the staff team, we appreciate every single chatreport and we look into it with quality. Hopefully this helps - please be kind to one another
howdy, I just wanted to give a little input as well and bring something else up in case you aren't aware. If someone is swearing or breaking rules in chat, it doesn't need to take you 5 minutes to report them on the website. In fact, you don't even need to report them on the website at all. /ignore (user) is just as quick as /chatreport (user). All you really need to do if someone is breaking server rules is to chat report them, which takes like 5 seconds, and that's that. Obviously being able to ignore someone would be great, however as a few people mentioned there are certainly cons to it. For now, if someone is 100% breaking a rule just chat report them so they can be punished. If they are just constantly being toxic and rude, you can always ask a staff member to join the game just to cool the situation down a little bit to prevent things getting out of hand. If all else fails, mentally ignore them. It's just as effective. Thanks, Nikki
If you ask me they should have built /ignore into the new friends system instead of still using essentials for user ignoring. Just my opinion.
