This is an interesting question to think about :D

If I can keep all of my current memories, the earlier in life I return to, the "better" the outcome will probably be. Imagine using knowledge from the future, investing in bitcoins 10 years ago, or simply getting a Minecraft username with only two characters.

If I can't keep my current memories, then there's no difference between whether I live in the current time or return to the past. I will still make the same decisions and do the same things as I did in the past. I do miss a lot of good moments in the past, but the "me in the past" will not have those thoughts at that moment. I probably won't even notice this "unknown cycle of life in the past" after returning to the past lol.

this is actually a pretty cool thought about it but imagine all the Deja vu you'd have if you went back without the memories. Your whole life will feel like its been lived and I personally think it would drive me crazy

I'd go back to being 12 or so, something around there because I wasn't worried about real life problems yet.
