i posted this already but it was in the wrong discussion and my question wasn't answered. Why are golden carrots and mushroom soup removed from sg chests, and why is the saturation value on some food messed up like carrots doing 1.5 instead of 2 and sometimes melons doing .5 instead of 1.
To my knowledge Golden Carrots and Mushroom Soup were never in our Survival Games chests, as for Saturation values, we don't modify anything from the vanilla game when consuming food. Do mind our back end is 1.8, which may have different saturation values compared to the newer versions of the game. If you do find inconsistency, if you could record the issues with proof and post it as a bug report (https://mccentral.org/community/forums/bugs/) we could look into it. Noting of course, that saturation isn't usually a visible value without the use of a 3rd party client, meaning their display of saturation values could be incorrect too; So verify that before posting first.
like KierenBoal said they were never in SG at all. The food saturation if I had to guess it would be so people actually have to eat during games as my hunger goes down only after fights and then I'll eat to heal. Hopefully this has answered your question.
i wasnt going to respond Kieren because it seemed useless to explain any further but what i asked wasnt like "are they not in chests?" it was meant as in "why are they not in chests" because mcc is like the only server that removes the highest saturation food from chests (golden carrot) which is weird. My other point wasn't "hunger goes down fast" it was carrots do 1.5 hunger bars instead of the 2 its supposed to do since it was introduced til the latest version and sometimes ive seen watermelons do .5 hunger bars but the removal of golden carrots and messed up saturation isnt a big deal for me personally its just something i wanted to point out
Hey! If you feel like they should be added to the game, as there is going to be a minigames revamp pretty soon, you can always make sure to create a thread on it as a server suggestion, here. However, in relation to the highest saturation foods, I'm pretty sure that steaks and cooked pork, even though they are not the highest at saturation, are pretty similarly ranked in relation to golden carrots (12.8 saturation points compared to 14, respectively). This wouldn't be such an important addition and as you've even pointed out regarding yourself, it may not even be relevant for players in general. Regarding the carrots restoring 1.5 bars, they have always restored only 1.5, it is not a bug, as you can find information in all Minecraft Wiki websites about it! :) Thank you!
You guys are seriously getting this frustrated with a game that's constantly getting updated for free? I just don't understand the sense of urgency on your behalf. I'm sure Mojang isn't just sitting around and ignoring these bugs. These things take time to fix. If you are really THIS concerned with getting attention to this bug, go to the bug tracker and raise attention there. After you are done, post information about the bug tracker case here so others get pointed in the right direction as well. Sitting here complaining on the subreddit isn't going to get you anywhere unless you provide info to come up with a solution. Before posting in this subreddit, you are prompted to read the redbox above your post which clearly states all of this information. https://19216811.cam/
definitely remove all foods that do less than 2.5 bars of hunger and replace it with more steak and pork
