I used to regularly play mcc a few years ago and payed $80 for the diamond rank. i came back recently and noticed it is not $80 but $65 instead. this being said, if or when i donate again... am i donating 70 or 85? itd make sense to up rank those who donated 80 instead of keeping them at the rank that now cheaper.
Basically, you should be paying whatever price is in the shop. Now there are sales that come year time round which is when most people decide to get ranks and other things. Whatever price is the shop at the time of viewing is the price you'll pay.
i dont quite get your question, but if you're looking to upgrade your diamond rank to bedrock ($15) you'd pay the $15 regardless of how much you spent on the rank in the past. and i cant remember any changes made to the rank prices in the past, ive been around for roughly 7 years as well, and ever since then i have never seen price readjustments
Heya! Could there be the possibility that you maybe remember it incorrectly that you are maybe viewing the store while having your settings on a different currency. If you donated 80$ for your Diamond rank I highly suggest you make a payment donation issue e-mail. For more info on that click here. But before you make one you should double-check if you actually paid 80$. Or maybe you have bought a different rank?
To my knowledge prices for ranks haven't changed - and even if they did, you don't get to pay less for it. You bought the rank for the price it was and it is what it is. Creating a donation ticket after all these years would be absolutely silly - it'd be denied instantly. The same applies for anything, you don't buy a new expensive game at Game Stop and expect to pay less for the next game because "the old game is now less, and on sale for cheaper!". If you wish to upgrade you rank, you pay the current upgrade fee by selecting your previous rank, and your desired rank. This will calculate and display to you at your chosen currency.
