Try crafting a book and quil. it kicks you. you can use this to your advantage, but I'm not sure if its against the rules. here is what I did I was trying to make books for my among us plot (tasks) and then I stumbled upon this glitch. I showed it to EUmonster in PVP, by tagging him, telling him to craft the book, then he gets kicked and dies. I gave him his stuff back don't worry :P I was wondering if this could get fixed and I was trying to spread the word. then ofc some kid threatens me that "He's gonna report me and imma get banned if I don't /pay him money" Please fix this bug. I need books for my among us plot! the screenshots are messages to show me getting blackmailed :P I don't wanna get banned.
I wouldn't exactly call it 'game breaking'. The chances that someone happens to attempt to craft a book while in PvP, or while tagged are almost nil. Books are banned due to a very well known duplication glitch. Dhrona threatening to report you and get you banned if you don't pay them is disgusting, though.
Hiya! If you find ever find a bug in the game, you should report it instead of exploiting it so you don't get banned. You can report bugs here https://mccentral.org/community/forms/bug-reports.15/respond Also, if you do get banned, it would be for 30 days instead of 60 as looking at your punishment history, it seems you haven't gotten a ban for doing that before
books are disabled in order to prevent an exploit that would crash the server its not game breaking as barely anybody uses them nor is it a bug as it's meant to be like that
just one other thing added, books were disabled server wide due to an overload of complaints about people having inappropriate and threatening books left in their inventories when they are standing somewhere, so this and the exploit are the reason they were removed. since this question is answered, ive locked the thread :)
