Salut! Hey, so as some of you know, I've been playing KitPvP for three years now, and there have been many hectic changes these past few seasons. Not the best, but not the worst. I'd love to play a season where the community picks the ideas. Main/New Ideas: 1. Kit Filter: When you do your kits, you don't pick up the items you filter out. Meaning, you'd get the items that were not filtered out of the kit. Example: /kit filter (Kit name). 2. Fill inventory: It's pretty self-explanatory; it's an option to fill your inventory with the item you're buying. Example: It's on prison & factions (/shop) 3. Logging system: If you log out in a PVP zone, a player should be respawned back in the same spot. Example: Same idea as factions. 4. Killstreak rewards: I suggest that there should be increased rewards in accordance with killstreaks to create further incentives to hit a higher milestone and have some competition going around. Example: After hitting a killstreak of 1000, increase the amount by 5$ instead of constant 50$ 5. Boosters: 1. Kill Cash Multiplier (2x) You basically gain 4$ per kill instead of 2$. 2. Health Potion chest You get to have a full chest of health potions every 10 minutes. 3. Increased Exp (1.5x) You get 1.5x the amount of exp per kill. 6. New events: Clan wars, times during which clans can gear up with their own armor and fight other clans. They could be put into a separate arena or a block of an area of the map. (Credit goes to pork for this) Changes: 1: More events, more often. 8 hours per Koth and Mob Madness is way too long, even though they are 4 hours apart. I think there should be 8 events a day, 3 Koths and 3 Mobmadnesses. Maybe rotate in clan wars too. So have 3 different types of events 3 times a day for each of them, just so players want to keep playing, which will boost the number of players on the server. 2: Lowering the amount of money for clan upgrades/clan chests; many players agreed to this in previous threads. 3: The shop prices should be lowered. To get a full inventory of health potions costs about 250$(with the 25% shop discount perk), 380$(without), where it should cost about 100$ max. 4. Making it so that the clan top is based on more than kills. So, combining event wins + kills + Clan wars(if it's added). 5.This is also an unnecessary part of the current season. Commands should be accessible in combat. Such as /clan chat, /clantop, /clan list, /clan info, /baltop, /eventtop, and definitely /ping.
New/More frequent events would be an incredible addition to the next season. The majority of kitpvp player base solely log on for events, but often end up staying for 20-30 minutes on either side of the event (i.e 20 minutes before and 20 minutes after koth/mm) Having events more often would result in there being far more players online at any given time in my opinion. Adding boosters could significantly change how kitpvp works as well, as I don't believe there previously have been boosters for this sub-server. An interesting idea, would love to see what others think of it =) I 100% agree that there should be kill streak rewards. It can get slightly discouraging to have no reason to keep up a kill streak when one of the few benefits is a higher bounty (which admittedly, doesn't help the person with a kill streak) Love seeing all the ideas being mentioned for the new season!
More events = more players Kitpvp boosters sound good too I also like the idea of warzone disconnecting you should definitely spawn in the same spot rather than spawning at spawn. ik this is like not kitpvp related but you should be able to go /report if you see a hacker instead of recording it, uploading it to youtube then making a player report, the command /report should like alert staff to go onto kitpvp or something idk, keep up the good work tho.
1. Kit filter should be a top priority on Kit PvP as it makes the gameplay more efficient and entertaining. 2. Fill inventory will just make life much more easier instead of spam clicking 3.Logging system is a great way to stop players from running away from 1v1's. It will force players to play the game the way it was intended 4. Love the idea of higher ks rewards but the 1 down side is that players will know have more of a excuse to not 1v1 and just rookie farm forcing rookies to dislike the kit PVP concept alot more. 5. Booster should be added back with the added feature of /tip just like in prison but the /tip amount must be very small as it can ruin the eco. 6. New Events More event will keep the bigger clans more active and will keep players entertained for much shorter wait time in between event.
I Agree with all of these Ideas. Ive been looking at a bunch of KitPvP New Threads recently and I even created one a few weeks ago too. It seems everyone has very similar ideas, or the same ideas, which is good because it shows what the players want Overall all of your Ideas are good in my opinion, and they should all be in the new upcoming season. The only Idea i dont like is the HPS Booster, as no one will buy a booster just for pots. Really the only thing i disagree with...
I like all of your ideas! A lot of people will probably disagree with me but I think that /fix should not be free. There's soo much money in the eco and it's so easy to get p4 and p5 because of that but I know a lot of people will disagree ;c
We need a couple of things added thet are content though LMS event. P4 S5 Fix all for everybody 1 gap 32 crapples 10 hps perm speed, fire, strength. Change S6 to be common like other p5 gear. This way, there isn't more s6 than p5 like this season. nah. Orange level rewards because people in green moving into orange are mostly new players, so this gives a boost. Blue levels, only about 30 get it per season. So that's not that op. Purple only 5-8 get it per season, red only 2-3 get, and 250 0-2 get it.
I agree with everything on this list, very well made and I liked all of your ideas almost every idea I think should be implemented. I hope the owners actually take this into account and not ignore this because it really needs to be done! Couldn't have been said any better, well done!
Hey kryfex! Great job on this thread. I agree with your suggestion that there should be more events and that there should be boosters added. I hope to see some of these suggestions implemented.
I agree with most of this, but clan wars I Don't really like because I dont have friends so that's why I'm solo. But the chest full of hps is kind of absurd G
aGreed with everyThing Can't really emphasize this enough but once again there should be more events, like there are very good ones to use from factions that would fit perfect on kit, LMS, Envoys, Care packages. Like we really want an even every 1-2 hours, this way there is a lot to do to have fun and not just get bored quickly. Most players are on for the events this late into the season, just log on for a koth and check the player base, and then log on 15 minutes after it ends.
Keep in mind that I have immortal rank and this season I am level 62 without farming rookies ever, I am not some random who just started playing the game. I have been playing MCC kitpvp since you were able to buy the stuff off the walls. During this time period, I have quit the server incrementally about 6 times due to the boredom that comes from playing the server. The reason I find myself feeling bored is because two things, the servers toxicity and the amount of things you are actually able to do on the server. Don't get me wrong, I currently love playing MCC kitpvp. But I find myself logging off a lot due to getting ganked by hackers, getting D-dossed, getting doxed or just because I'm bored of doing the same pvp style constantly. I think the most important fixes next season are as follows from most important to least. 1. Get a better anti-cheat. The amount of hackers on MCC is shocking and stupid and it ruins the game. I know at least 10 people who have quit because the anti cheat is so bad. The anti cheat, if anything, hurts the players who are playing legit more than the hackers. The hits don't reg, there's dumb lag back, it's stupid. Invest in a better one (like invaded lands) and I guarantee more people will play. 2. More events. Kry is right, the time period between events is way to long. people log on solely for the purpose of doing events, especially KOTH. Honestly, MM needs to be replaced. I don't know I single person who likes mm. If your not gonna add new events, replace MM with another KOTH. But I would say try to make the event system more like Invaded lands. I know it takes work but it's worth it. 3. Making the game more fun for rookies. I actually don't care too much about this but it does make me sad to see so many rookies quit because it's not fun. I know that Alex Markey is trying to make money but come on. they literally log on for two seconds and then log off. in their WEEKLY kit they get three shot unless they eat their gap. I would say if your trying to make the game more fun for rookies, take out strength, make /fix all cheaper, and have more fun, evenly matched events like TDM or SUMO. 4. More clan stuff. Idk Ill let others figure this out but I feel like rn clans r kinda dumb. theres nothing to rly do with them and they seem a bit useless. 5. NO KILLSTREAK STUFF LIKE KRYFEX IS SAYING IT WILL BREAK THE GAME AS MUCH AS CF'S DID! 6. Filters on what you can pick up and what you get from your kits. Don't wanna waste my time no more. 7. /Kit HPS. Like /chest 3 or other perks, /Kit HPS will be a command that gives the player that uses it 25 hps every 2 hours. This would make me stay on more to play because I would have hp. I feel like hp is too hard to get from the shop as well, make the prices go down at least. The rarity of the kit would be legendary and you could only get it in anc chests.
Hey Khaled, Amazing thread :) I don't really play KitPvp that often but I personally agree with some of the ideas listed, not that I don't agree with the rest, I'm just not experienced enough to give my opinions on them. I really like the idea about the filter as I myself find it absolutely annoying filling my inventory with gear just to throw it out but better yet, I think they should add an overall inventory filter, you could type the command "/filter" and it would open up a menu allowing you to choose which type of armor/weapons/pots/etc. you would want to be able to pick up and the rest filtered out. So for example, if you walked over a pile of loot in the pvp-zone, you would only pick up the items configured in the menu. However, if this were to be added I feel it should be accessible to all because I find it a little bit unfair if a lower donor rank or rookie has to sort through their whole inventory whereas a high donor can just run across it and warp out. I also like the idea regarding boosters, more specifically the Kill Cash Booster, mainly because I find it to be equivalent to the other boosters on our other sub-servers: not game-breaking but still beneficial. Also in regards to the EXP Booster you mentioned, considering not all donor ranks receive EXP upon killing players, I think it would be better if we add a booster similar to the Charity boosters on Prison and Skyblock but instead of money, you would receive x amount of EXP every so often for 30 or 60 minutes.
