[POLL] Should we have a keep inventory perk?

I feel like this would be a good addition to the game.

However, I think this could also cause upset in the community as keep inventory is an in-game feature that you are able to turn off or on.
Buying this perk is almost like pay to win but not in a sense you are winning, but in a sense that you are paying to keep your items.
I feel like this would be a good perk to add with the Immortal or Legend ranks.

only a select few people would want a keep inventory perk and it would just piss off everyone else who has absolutely no use for it.

Part of prison is the 'fear' of getting scammed.
Having a keep inventory perk would defeat that; no doubt angering the community.

You can always deposit your items in /ec before accepting a TP or visting a plot to avoid any chance of loosing items.

Super OP for people who get it. To balance this out, it would have to be a really rare item, but simultaneously accessible enough that people could get it.
Including this in ranks makes them so OP that prison is basically not worth playing.
Plus, how do you die in lava in prison? If you get scammed, you get scammed.
Emerald ranks+ already have fly, so no fall damage there.

Just gonna point out real quick that not everyone has the /ec command :/

 

If someone tries deathtrapping you, /ec is probably one of the worst commands to use. You could do /back or /p h or /spawn instead. As far as wanting to put items away beforehand, just go to your plot and put it in a chest.

 

Hi! I'm going to have to disagree with this. Prison is known for scamming and I personally think that's one of the reasons why prison is so fun. I don't scam, but I'd imagine it's like an adrenaline rush when you deathtrap someone or lose all your items. This is why prison is so exciting and getting to keep all your items when you get scammed will ruin the fun.

It's very common that players will call out scammers in chat, yet people still get scammed/ death trapped. Always put your items in a chest before warping to a plot you've never visited before. Have a great rest of your day!

 

Obviously this is OP butttt.... hear me out. You can use the perk to attach to ONE item, meaning maybe you value your upgradable pickaxe so you choose to use it on that item, being a perk it can be a one time use and not used on multiple items, upon receiving the perk paper you right click it and it brings up the menu of wether you want to apply the perk, once you click yes on the green block it bring up your inventory you drag the perk paper over the item and click on it, similar to token luck on armor, and then you would permanently have unlocked the perk and have one item that you keep until reset obviously not through reset. Now this is where I was thinking of 2 solutions possibly after reset you can just use /perks and click on the “bound item” perk and it brings up the same thing as usual your inv and you drag the paper to the item and that’s it for the season. Second thought was since it’s pretty op this could be a new perk that you can NOT keep through reset and will have to get it through keys or on ah again in the updated season. Thoughts?

 

Awful idea. Nobody wants a perk that doesn't stay with you throughout resets and can only be used on a single item. It wouldn't be OP in any way, it would be shit.

 

Then go with the first solution, you keep the perk forever and can use it after each reset on one item.

 

It's still a bad idea. Nobody wants to get a keep item perk for a singular item.

 

I think your opinion speaks for yourself and not “everybody” but it was just a suggestion I could care less, as I haven’t lost an item due to lava or scams. But for those that wouldn’t want this it doesn’t really affect them in fact if you didn’t want it you could sell it on ah. And for those who do well it benefits them

 

I can't think of a single person who would want that proposal to be a perk (asides from maybe yourself).

I just said I wouldn’t care XD I use 2 perks anyway sell the ones I get and don't want it’s not that serious... just thinking about what the original person who posted wanted and tried to address it in fair way for everyone not just thinking for myself :)

 

So first you say it's such a great perk and now you're saying you would sell this one because you wouldn't want it? You should just stop talking.

If you are relating having a perk in a minecraft server to running in front of a bus you shouldn’t be responding in the first place XD
