We have brought back beaconing but we have yet to re allow set home in pvp this season. This is a easy change if the community wants it. Seasons 1-4 of prison had beaconing and set homes in pvp. Though today there are no other sub servers that allow homes in the pvp arena. Doesn't mean we cant just its not "normal". If you don't like the idea let us know. Or if you have alternate ideas to allowing set homes.
Get effects from a beacon then /back into pvp you can run people over if they aren't paying attention
Beaconing was for sure a must to return back into prison. Removing it for sure made a majority of the original members to quit after 4.0 reset. Sethomes being removed for sure played a big role on that as well. Sethomes were mainly an issue due to how many crazy glitches and such that occurred in 3.0 and how many places people could set their homes at, ect. It also was a big part of the beaconing issue. The reason why beaconing and sethomes should come back, is because ENDERPEARLS were the main issue when it came to beaconing and sethomes. The perk, and beaconing was no issue in 2.0 reset, but it then became a huge controversy when enderpearls were given a role in prison pvp, and that is what ruined a lot. I think bringing back sethomes would for sure help the case especially the fact that beaconing is back and a lot of OGs will return.
bring it back. people didn't buy the perk so they could set homes in the plot world. Also, I know you guys won't do it but bring back /rename.
I agree with Fouffy. I think SetHomes would be a great addition to Prison season 8. Maybe if we go as close back to the old prison days as we can a lot of OG players would come back and play as well. I know i would love to see some OG players I miss those guys. I loved Prison pvp with beaconing and /sethome. I had the most fun in the early prison resets than i ever did with these last few i think it will definitely be worth it!
That's one of the most important parts of bringing back beaconing, it's a must. So there's no choice other than yes.
Facts but back in the first few seasons people got mad so who knows it may get removed again depending on how many people complain but I really hope it stays I've already gotten a shit load of gear from it
Beaconing was fun if you weren't targeted, I couldn't go into PvP because of it until I got help, and all because I got some players banned
