Are nametags allowed in Skyblock? I’ve looked in the auction house and shop and don’t see any. No one selling them or you just have to find your own in a nether fortress chest. Reason I’m asking is I’ve had a zombie villager spawn from my zombie spawner a couple times and thought next time it happens I’ll push it far enough away from the spawner so no more zombies will stack on it. Then cure it with the usual splash of weakness and golden apple. Start a villager trading farm. But I need nametags so the villager zombie or cured villager doesn’t de-spawn. Or will it de-spawn once I cure it? Just wondering if nametags are allowed in Skyblock or do I just have to find some on my own in a nether fortress or is there other ways of getting them?

Name tags are allowed in Skyblock and can be found by fishing. Villagers are also generally buggy and so you may have an issue with them whether they're named or not.

I just started fishing as I didnt know at first you have to log into the game using 1.8.9 version to fish. Dont have any nametags yet. I did cure a zombie villager yesterday and he is still on my island 24 hours later so looks like they dont need to be named to stay. I've made several trades already to unlock all of his trades he can do. Problem now is with Zombies set to not attack anything you cant let the villager get bit by a zombie and turned back to zombie villager so you can cure the villager yet again to have cheaper trades. I havent figured out if this is going to be possible with zombies and mobs being set to not being able to attack people or villagers. maybe someone else has figured this out?
