That’s where only recording the hackers that you’re not 100% sure about comes in. Basically people with blatant hacks such as Bhop, fly, speed, and safewalk wouldn’t necessarily need to be recorded as it is very obvious. But the players with reduced kB, aura/aimbot and other similar things are harder to detect and that’s where the vast majority of false bans come from. Simply because it’s really hard to tell. Since staff members wouldn’t need to record the obvious “bots”, that would cut down significantly on the amount of videos that they need to keep around (for a week, as suggested earlier, could be a moderate number). As far as organization is concerned, uploading to YouTube is annoying and time consuming, but if you start the upload and then get back to what we you were doing, it really doesn’t take much time out of your busy schedule. Even if you’re doing a hundred potential hackers daily. Ofc it would be easier to keep it on your computer if you have an adequate hard drive, but not all do. Nonetheless, naming the video with the name of the player, date, and maybe even the reason for suspecting them. This could help cut down on false bans but it would take extra work. I disagree with this, staff cant record everytime they spectate, not every staff member has the best pc for it, I don't think anyone has ever been false banned on this server before cuz staff know what they are doing, if it has happened than the player must have been unbanned right away so no need for this. If you were banned just record going into a singleplayer world showing that you have no hack on your screen and it will get you insta unbanned.
Sadly there has been many accounts of False bans. They happen everyday on every server and big servers will never get around it. We should be grateful that we have such active forums and if we gets falsely banned we can appeal and have our appeal looked at within 12 hours most of the time. Thank you.
Hi there Now I see your stress but if you get banned by mods+ then they wont collect any proof however if it seems like its sketchy then they will screen share you to check if you are hacking.
