Hi, so I live in aus and normally get around 200ms to the server, but around 2 weeks ago it suddenly jumped to 350ish constantly. My ping is fine to all other servers so it cant be an issue with my internet. I figured it would sort itself out and have just left it for 2 weeks but it still hasnt been fixed yet. Anyone got any ideas?

    Hey Jdaa,

The ping on the server has been fine for ages; so its most likely something happening on your end.
    I'd suggest things like:
    • A restart of your router
    • A restart of your computer
    • Setting your DNS to 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1 (Google how to do this)
    • Check if anyone in your house is using a lot of the bandwith (If lots are watching YouTube/Netflix it can reduce your ping)
    • Optimize your in game settings (Reduce render distance, set 'Fast' render mode, turn off any large texture packs, use Optifine, etc)
These things may or may not help your ping, but can usually assist.

Have tried all these things to no avail, currently getting around 500 ping to mc central but getting perfectly normal ping to all other servers. I fail to see how this is an issue on my end, as my internet is working completely as usual to hypixel etc..
