Hey! So I've been noticing a lot of hackers in survival games (and have successfully reported around 32 this month alone). However, even after being banned, they remain on the leaderboards. Some players are in the top 100, others in the top 50, which kinda skews the whole thing. Idk. I just don't think hackers deserve a place on the leaderboard. Feel free to comment <3
You just got to pass them on the leaderboards they probably can't remove them off the leaderboards because one of them could be false banned and if they remove them off the leaderboards and that one person who was false banned makes an appeal and it gets accepted they would probably be mad because they got taken off the leaderboards falsely and worked hard and it was just removed in seconds.
I get what you are saying. But for ex, I just ran into a level 15 KA and Waterwalk hacker who had 18 wins in 30 games. Its unfair that those wins got taken from people, the hacker doesn't deserve them either, and yet it puts them up on the leaderboards higher than legit players. IDK I guess I see your point tho.
I have 2 thoughts on this. 1 is that I am grateful it doesn't remove hackers, because when I was falsely banned a few years ago, I kept my leaderboard stats. At the same time, legit hackers are on the leaderboards. There needs to be a way to save a banned player's data, but hide it from the leaderboards during their ban so that they don't take the spots from people who deserve it.
Sadly, The only thing you can do is just pass them out on the leaderboards. It would be very hard to remove every banned player off the leaderboards regularly and if a player was ‘falsely’ banned and appeals and it gets accepted, he/she is going to want their statistics back. Also, for instance, If a player is banned for something like ‘scamming on skyblock’ or something that is irrelevant to SG and their SG stats were reset then that would not make any sense as they were committing the offense on skyblock and it should have nothing got to do with their minigame stats. I sadly, do not see a feature where ‘all banned players are removed off leaderboards’ being implemented any time soon. apologizes and regards.
I see your point with stuff like chat bans or scam bans, I was mostly referring to confirmed hacked client bans that were 100% people hacking. Thank you for bringing up the Skyblock point tho ^^, should have clarified which bans I was talking about
Personally I would never see this implemented in the near future, for the reason that it would just take a lot of time to remove all of the statistics off players that were banned for blatant hacks. There is more important things to be focusing on such as new events and the anti-cheat update etc. It is just my point of view but thank you anyway for bringing this topic up! Regards.
I agree with this, even though it could be possible for some person to get false banned but I dont think it's ever happened on mcc where a player got false banned. So +1 for this idea
I do agree with this although im semi new here so I am no where near the top leaderboards xD yes I see a lot of hackers now a days who are on the leaderboards and I do agree 100% that there stats should be removed or reset! although there is a lot of big things happening on the server right now and I don't think they will even think about this idea as there is a lot of bigger things happening.
