So I've been around for a while. I created my account on October 3rd in 2013 as a birthday present making me 9 years old at the time. (just for clarification, you can check how old your Minecraft account is here.) Pretty much the first thing I did when I finally got a Minecraft account I went searching for servers, and at the time, MCC was actually one of the bigger servers. Joining MCC was the very first thing I did on Minecraft, even before a survival or creative world, since I watched a lot of YouTubers play on other servers. Now looking back on old videos of me and my friends playing on MCC back in like 2015 reminded me of how long ago I joined the community. Of course, my interest in Minecraft came and went and I went on to play other games (the reason why my level is only 900 on MCC right now) but I always came back to play on MCC. I just wanted to see if any of the older players on MCC are active on the forums and also would like to bring back some good memories. First off, the lobby has changed a whole lot but I found an older video from 2016 and I saw a glimpse of the old lobby, (https://gyazo.com/497e66d1aab1fdf7d14e2a02f37cf82d) Also, the old minigame lobby was a good memory. I remember in that big cylinder with glowstone at the bottom there was that parkour and the one jump from the ladder to the ice was so hard and I only really completed that parkour like three to four times but when I did it was an accomplishment. (this is the only real image I have of the parkour and its part of a pinned message in the '#roleclaim' channel on the MCC Discord) Some more recent stuff: -Party games on MCC (OITQ was my favorite ;) ) -Solo Cakewars?? (idk why they removed that it was fun ) -When creative plots were smaller (I'm still upset about that reset) -Alex and Jeremy's skull in the old lobby. -When you could go in that rocket ship above the Creative portal in the lobby. -Some random evidence of admins putting signs down saying "I was here" behind a tree or something in the old lobby. -That one day when colored chat broke and every user including non-donators could use it. -Evinreeder as head admin... What are some things you remember from old MCC?
Nontoxic people is what I remember. Evinreeder was a god. I have Jeremy's email because of a dumb thing he did on the buycraft website. I miss old MCC.
I remember Ancient Keys being the god tier item at the time. I miss everyone being a noob in every subserver both in the PvP aspect, and knowledge aspect. I remember the old exploits of getting out of the PvP Arena in the 2nd reset of Survival and having a lot of nice and generous friends. This generation of humans is a lot of toxic and rude towards others and has turned a bit towards the worst. I don't wanna drag this down too far into the depths, but 2015 was a better time...
Toxicity is something I don't like now either. I guess it's just how it is since the server is pretty old.
Hey! I've been playing on MCC since the start of 2014, so there's too much I remember that I could share with you hahh If you want to look at the old minigames lobby, I made it on my plot on creative. /p h alorulz 16
I wish i would have been around more in the older days. I’ve always loved the mcc community, I’ve been on this server with a few different accounts. Cool hearing people’s stories and memories about mcc. Ask, I remeber when alex markey was more active in game and didn’t have to worry about much other stuff.
ive been around since 2015 and i did the same thing as you. looked on planetminecraft and found mcc and joined right away. this is the only server i think i have ever really played, sure ive done stuff on other servers but none felt like mcc did.
I don't remember much, but I think I played a lot of minigames and maybe CTF when I just got Minecraft (late October 2014 according to my Mojang account), and MCC was probably the first server I connected to! I took a long break from Minecraft to play other games, but at the start of the lockdown, I wanted to start playing skyblock again (I used to play on another server a few years prior). I ended up here from planet Minecraft, and I felt like this server was familiar. Turns out it has changed a lot since all the way back then. I remember the old lobby vaguely and how hard the ladder jumps were across that one pole in the parkour (I was 10 at the time, and I'm not the most mechanically gifted person). I wish they would bring it all back at some point as a sort of remembrance of the old times (maybe 10th anniversary?). EDIT: Might be wrong about the CTF
Howdy bro. I joined MCC in late 2015, where I was around 10-11 years old, so I didn’t really remember the little stuff, but I do remember the big stuff such as the build team, redstone rank, legend was the highest rank that you could get, the old lobby, OITC still existed, and there was parkour before you play champion builder. During the long break I took, they removed those things and I was really confused during the time, because I was so used to seeing that stuff. I really wish that we can just take a time machine back to those times, because that is when it was much simpler. You didn’t have to worry about school, or anything with that matter, and you would spend hours on the computer playing minecraft. <3
I'm not sure how I stumbled upon MCC but I've been here since 2014. I've loved watching the server and player base evolve over the years and watch it continue to change with each new group of players. The one thing I remember most about the ol' days on MCC was having to choose a minigames lobby by clicking on signs. Skype calls were always hilarious while trying to get all the players in a group in the same game because games filled up SO fast. I wish they would bring back OITC though, it was always fun and quick. People used to brag constantly when they would succeed in the minigames parkour. There were only 2 CTF maps. At the end of the day, I couldn't imagine dedicating so many years to any other server.
Hey man, I´ve been playing probably since 2015, I was staff I believe back in 2015 when bedrock was the highest rank and you could see whoever voted on chat, I see that a lot of those people who played back then are playing again so I´ll give this game a try :)!
Idk if you guys remember but remember the time to get Into mini games you had to click the sign. That was sick
