    Short thread.

What if someone made a script to vote on their 5 alts in order to win a lot of buycraft? How would the server detect that?

    Hey!

Only ONE IP can vote every 24 hours, so voting on multiple accounts would not work.
Secondly, two of the voting sites require captcha verification

You could attempt but I am pretty positive the webhosting of the voting sites will reject your access eventually

    yeah, that's entirely possible.
you can set up a script with HTTP proxies to enter your username and submit, the problem is if the voting site requires a captcha, and most do. so you now have to pay for something like anti-captcha which I'm not entirely sure how much that costs per captcha but I'm assuming it would take your profits down by quite a bit.
either way, its a lot of effort to set up and do for some Minecraft store points not to mention you would have to spend real-life money which defeats the whole point of wanting to do something like this in the first place.

To add on from the above, votes from multiple accounts do not add up therefore in the end, it would come to how fast you can vote on 5 accounts differently every day.
Plus, depending on how many votes you'd send per day, I'm sure someone would realize it someday therefore doing this would be somewhat pointless.

Yes, using a VPN would bypass the IP block on the website.
But still as said above the websites still have a captcha.
